Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah
We will inshaa Allaah be restarting the questions from the beginning of Aqeedat ut Tahawiyah (as explained by Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan hafidhahullaah) in this thread.
This is the explanation which is being taught in Abu Talha (hafidhahullaah)'s classes on Mondays.
The format will be : questions will be posted and answers to those questions will follow after a few days inshaa Allaah.
The questions on the CURRENT classes will continue inshaa Allaa on the already existing thread under 'guidance on seeking knowledge'.
Apologies for any confusion caused so far!
These questions from the beginning of the book will inshaa Allaah be of assistance for those who wish to refresh the topics covered as well as those who missed the duroos and wish to catch up.
QUESTIONS NUMBER ONE:
QUESTIONS RELATING TO POINT ONE OF TAHAWIYAH
1) Where was Imaam At Tahaawee (rahimahullaah) from?
2) When was he born and when did he die?
3) What was the name of his maternal uncle from whom he learned fiqh?
4) What was Imaam At Tahaawee?s kunyah?
5) What is the first pillar (rukn) of Islaam?
6) What is the evidence for this being the first pillar?
7) What is the consequence of establishing the deen (religion) upon shaky or corrupt aqeedah?
8) What was the aqeedah of the Companions established upon?
9) Why does Shaykh al Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah) say that the Companions were not in any need of books of aqeedah to be written in their time?
10) When the splitting and differing started to occur among the Muslims, what did the scholars of Islaam need to do?
11) Shaykh al Fawzaan makes the point that from the protection that Allaah has given to this religion is??what? |
