Audio: Q&A Concerning Modern-Day Callers & Groups and The Tricks they Employ

By Abu Hakeem Bilaal Davis & Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid
An important Q&A session from the Seminar 'Holding on to Islaam in Times of Fitnah' (Oct '08, Toronto, Canada). Our good brothers, Abu Hakeem and Abu Khadeejah address some questions concerning some of the groups and personalities of the day who cloth themselves with the garments of Ahlus-Sunnah, as-Salafiyyeen whilst cooperating with Ahlul-Bid'ah. Important questions are posed concerning Yaasir Qadhee, Abu Usaamah and the al-Maghrib institute.

Review:

[Q1]: According to the Ash'aree Soofee, Nuh Haa Meem Keller, "These books (i.e. al-Ibaanah 'an Usool ad-Diyaanah) of Abul-Hasan al-Ash'aree are not to be counted (his retraction from the Ash'aree/Kullaabee 'Aqeedah) as they were enacted under duress and pressure from those upon the 'Aqeedah of Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal" What do Ahlus-Sunnah say about this?

[Q2]: Often when we warn against the people of bid'ah, people will say "you shouldn't speak against them without advising them....and you shouldn't mention names because it makes fitnah" what is the detailed understanding of this?

[Q3]: You mention that if a person has even a 10% difference in 'Aqeedah in comparison with the 'Aqeedah of  the Salaf, then such a person is not to be considered upon the Sunnah. How does this apply with Imaam an-Nawawee who was an Imaam of Ahlus-Sunnah despite having errors in his 'Aqeedah?

[Q4]:  What is the 'Aqeedah of the people who call themselves 'al-Ikhwaanul-Muslimeen', they claim to be upon the 'Aqeedah of Imaam Muhammad Ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab?

[Q5]: What is the position of 'Umar al-Ashqar?

[Q6]: Concerning the splinter groups of the 'Ikhwaanul-Muslimoon' (from the most political to the most violent) and the widespread destruction of this movement

[Q7]: When we try to advise other Muslims about not sitting with Ahlul-Bid'ah, such as Yaasir Qadhee and his al-Maghrib Institute, they say 'you should stop backbiting them and give them a chance to repent...' Please advise them

[Q8]: What should we do with the book 'Du'aa in the Light of the Sunnah' of Yaasir Qadhee, was it written when he was fine, should I burn it?

[Q9]: Concerning the smokescreen 'You didn't advise them/ you are looking for errors (to harm them)' [in regards to Yaasir Qadhee, Abu Usaamah etc.].

[Q10]: The legacy of Yaasir Qadhee/Abu Usamah working with Ahlul-Bid'ah whilst claiming Salafiyyah

MashAllaah this was very beneficial. JazakAllaah khayr ikhwaan for the clarifications.

Shaykh Ahmed Baazmool hafithahullaah calls Shaykh Falaah as Allaamah on sahab.net and some of these opposers of the Usool of Ahlus Sunnah have the audacity to say that he is a student of knowledge! Read the biography of Shaykh Falaah by clicking http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=28&Topic=6839

May Allaah guide them and us to the truth. Aameen.
