Muqadimatul-Qirwaaniyah by ibn Abi Zaid al-Qirwaani al-Maaliki - Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Aqeel's explanation

Then the author ibn Abi Zaid al-Qirwaani al-Maaliki rahimahullaah wanted to show the greatness of Allaah's knowledge and said:

He created man and knows what his souls whispers, and He is closer to him than his jugular vein (by His knowledge).

Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Aqeel's explanation:
Our Lord created us while knowing full well what we will do. He put us together in such a way that even the angels were amazed because the knowledge of the angels is nothing compared to the knowledge of Allaah.

‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎
"And when your Lord said to the angels, "verily, I am going to place mankind generations after generations on earth."

Then Allaah mentioned to them the characteristics of this vicegerent and that if he obeys then he will be rewarded. Likewise if he disobeys, he will be punished. The angels were amazed and replied:

‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎
They said: "will you place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You." He (Allaah) said: "I know that which You do not know."

We thank Allaah that He created us and put us together in a (perfect) way. He showed us the two ways, good and evil. Whoever wants to believe then he has that choice and likewise whoever wants to disbelieve then he disbelieves. The greatest sweetness that one tastes is that sadness, regret and humility after a sin in front of Allaah seeking forgiveness, "O Allaah, I have committed a sin so forgive me (while you are crying)." You fear Allaah but at the same time your heart seeks Him. You fear Allaah and you hope in Him at the same time. This only comes together for Allaah only. It is not possible for complete love, fear and hope to come together except for Allaah. If Allaah did not create us upon this way then we wouldn't have tasted the sweetness of crying to Allaah. I swear by Allaah, crying in front of Allaah for an hour is sweeter than this whole world and what it contains. Whoever is deprived of this happiness then he is deprived of much good. All this is from the making of Allaah. As for the angels then they do not disobey Allaah when He orders them and they fulfill what they are commanded to do.

end.
