As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh.
This should be an issue of importance to all of us who live in the West, in particular, those of us in the United States. I have had many rather unfortunate encounters with the followers of Warith Deen, and in over 12 years I have not met even ONE who calls to following the Sunnah, even upon the most misguided of manners. Their "Imams" speak very forcefully against following the 'customs' of the Arabs. But to me, that is the least of their evils. The main problem I have with these people is their complete and wanton misinterpretation of Kitaabu Allaah.
May Allaah forgive me, but in the past I have spoken with takfeer of these people for some of the evil and disgusting manners in which they interpret ayaat. I cannot say I do not hate them for their dispicable tafaseer. They quote the bible more than the Qur'an. One of these ignorant children tried to tell me that Allaah does not mention the Jews and Christians in the Qur'aan!! It is important that they are exposed as the deviants that they are, publicly. I have less concern about Farrakhan than I do about Warith Deen and his Americanized Muslim group.
Insha'Allaah, this affair can be rectified soon, so there will be some understanding about who these people are, either here in the States or abroad.

It is not my intention to make takfeer upon all of them collectively, I will save that issue for the Ulemah. However, I will say this... If you take the time to talk (in depth) with any of them, you will find that when "SOME" of them say ALLAH, they are still inwardly refering to a man named Farad Muhammad and many of them still believe that the "black man" is a god.
Also, many of them still hold a deep respect and admiration for Elijah Muhammed, the lying false prophet. I have known followers of Wallace D. Muhammed to make fun of other blacks who follow the Sunnah, making statements like "we don't need to behave like arabs". They also ridicule the sisters who wear hijab and niqab by saying "Quit behaving like those arabs, because it doesn't say anywhere in the Qur'an that a woman must cover her hair".
The best way to determine the condition of a group is to examine their leader, and if you look at the statements and actions of Wallace D. Muhammed it will be easy for you to draw your own conclusion insha'Allaah.

As-Salaamu 'alaykum.
I have a query about this Warith D. Muhammad. I had a look at the link that our brother provided above, and some other material I have come across in the path and as was pointed out earlier, Farrakhan and W.D. Muhammad are upon the same thing.
Is W.D.Muhammad an extreme deviant but a muslim, or is he a kaafir? I ask this because they (Farrakhan and W.D.) seem to have the exact same 'Aqeedah.

Just to add to what the sister has already mentioned:
It should be noted that MOST (if not all) of the followers of Wallace D. Muhammed (son of the dajjal Elijah) hold the exact same beliefs as Farakhan and the so-called Nation of Islam. Many Muslims are confused on this issue. These Deviants with their "Bilalian" centers are nothing more than Black Nationalists, who care very little about the Qur'an, the Sunnah or even the basic fundamentals of Islaam.
Unlike Farakhan's followers, the people who align themselves with Wallace D. Muhammed often mix and mingle with "mainstream" Muslims (especially when they conduct fundraisers), the men often grow beards, wear kufi caps, and "seem" to have correct beliefs (until you dig a little deeper). This is where many Muslims become confused and unable to distinguish and detect their bid'ah, shirk and even kufr.
In my opinion, any fatwa pertaining to the so-called "Nation of Islam" should also pertain to the Deviant followers of Wallace D. Muhammed (the son of the dajjal Elijah Muhammed). These Bible quoters still refer to this dajjal as THE HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMED, while they often ridicule those who follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad صل الله عليه و سلم.
Wallace and his dupes are nothing but "pretenders" who wear the garb of Sunniyyah, but (in reality) they are contaminated with the residue and ideology of Farakhanism. Without doubt, they are nothing but an off-shoot of the N.O.I. and because of their resemblance (and close association) to "mainstream" Muslims, they are an even greater danger. waAllaahu Alam

I am requesting that one of the students of knowledge or the du'aat, who have experience with the EXTREMELY MISGUIDED beliefs of "the Nation of Kufr" and also a good command of the arabic language, present the true position of these kuffaar to the 'ulamaa.
This fatwa needs to pertain to Farakhan (their misguided, clean shaven preacher/dajjal of a leader)and to the general masses.
It might not be at the forefront of our minds but these people are leading so many astray...even from amongst the muslims. This is because these muslims are not clear that the Nation is in fact a nation of Kufr and they are not our brothers and sisters, rather they are our enemies.
Please brothers this is very important.
We (my husband and I) actually just recently had a run in with these people. After we told them clearly, with proofs and evidences from Qur'aan and Sunnah, that they are kuffaar and it was clear that we weren't going to listen to any more of their foolishness, they became angry and began to say how we are going to get a "sign". We took this as a threat since they are notorious for such things. May Allaah destroy their plans. Aameen.
Just in case you are not familiar with their insanity, some of the things they have said:
"Allaah has come in the person of Farad Muhammad"
"He, Farad Muhammad, is on the Throne"
"Elijah Muhammad is the Mahdi"
"Allaah was the 24th of 24 black scientists who created the white man"
"So you're saying Allaah is a spirit? Oh just some spirit up there!" (this in response to telling them Allaah is above the heavens)
"Our scientists wrote the Qur'aan and the Bible, which will give way to a new book"
"Elijah Muhammad, is the Messenger"
"Allaah said (from the Bible)that He will raise up a people who have been enslaved for over 400 years...and that is the black man."
"Farakhan sat with the major scholars of Islaam, those who have much more knowledgable than you, and none of them denounced him"
Some things about them:
They are blind followers of Farakhan. (We quote the Qur'aan and the Prophet, salallaahu alaihi wa salam and they quote Farakhan in return)
They claim to follow the Qur'aan, the Bible and the Torah (almost always quoting the Bible and hardly ever quoting the Qur'aan).
They decieve the common people into thinking they are Muslims. (This makes them very dangerous)
Alhamdulillaah, Allah has allowed us to become enemies with these people for HIS sake and may HE keep it that way unless they come to the Haqq or until we return to HIM. Aameen!
Again, brothers, I am sure you are busy, but this issue is affecting many of the muslims all over the West, so if you can get clarification and fataawa from the 'ulamaa it will be of great benefit, Inshaa'Allaah.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS QUESTION TO SLIP INTO THE ARCHIVES.
