As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu:

Dear Brother/Sister,

Alhumdulillah.

I was recently told that the Salafi community in Egypt asked a question to a Shaykh in Saudi Arabia who state that it is no longer permissible to study at the Fajr Center. I don't know who asked, what the exact question was, or who the Shaykh was. Does anyone have more information on this matter? I am aware that taking Deen from Ahlul Bid'ah and Hawwa, etc. is not permissible. However, based on previous information I was told that it is permissible to study the arabic language from one of these if that is all that you take from them. If anyone is able to shed light with daleel, I would greatly appreciate it.

Jazak Allahu Khair

Umm Yasmeen
