Asalamu alykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatu Just wanted to ask, is there an authentic prophetic supplication for seeking refuge from laziness? If so, can someone post the english meaning and arabic text, may Allaah bless you. Jazakallaah Khair Umm yahya bint muhammed

Wa alaiki salam wa rahmatullaahi wa baarakaatuh ukthi I found this in 'Fortress of the Muslim' page 118-119 under the heading 'Invocations for the setting of a debt' although it is also an invocation against laziness. I have only put the engish translation as I cannot seem to get the arabic text in, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah! But insha'Allah maybe someone else can put it or maybe you can find the dua book I'm referring to. "Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and from being overpowered by men (i.e. other people)". Bukhari 7/158
