More Claims of Ma'ribee and His Supporters Shot Down |
Stated Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Ubaykaan:
"How can it be (said) that I have given him a tazkiyah,
and I don't even know him?!
I did not give him a tazkiyah?"
In the Name of Allaah, ar-Rahmaan, ar-Raheem?
You may remember some time ago that one of the devotees to Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee, one of the more vocal ones in the West, claimed that Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Ubaykaan supported Abul-Hasan and called him a Salafee, despite the criticism against him.
This may have been the first time many in the West even heard of Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Ubaykaan. He was praised and lauded since they considered him one of their supporters.
Of course, we saw this behavior from them before:
They praised Shaykh Rabee' before the shaykh spoke against Abul-Hasan, they said, "All zealous youth should sit back and let Shaykh Rabee' judge in this affair?" Then, upon hearing Shaykh's Rabee's conclusion to his long, 5-year case study of the man's innovations and false principles, they made statements like, "Shaykh Rabee' has double standards," and, "Shaykh Rabee' is not being fair in his judgements!"
So they turned against him and said, "We'll let the lajnah in Madeenah decide, THEY are the ones who REALLY want justice in the affair!" And all of the Salafees took note of their hidden attack on Shaykh Rabee' in that statement.
Then they began praising the lajnah, and saying, "We advise all zealous youth to sit back, not be hasty, not speak about it, and wait for the conclusion of the lajnah?" Then, upon hearing that the lajnah supported the conclusion of Shaykh Rabee's case study of the man, they turned away from them just as quickly as they had turned to them.
So they went on seeking general praises for their beloved leader and imaam, Abul-Hasan. They quoted the general praises of a number of shuyookh, hoping to create an atmosphere of genuine scholarly differing, hoping to keep the people from hearing what those who actually studied the affair have to say.
So back to our topic - One of the many mashaayikh that they began praising was Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Ubaykaan, since they thought they had him in their corner. It is no surprise to find that recently Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin has exposed the lies of al-Ma'ribee and his followers, their claims that he supports them and their miskeen cause.
The following has been narrated to us from our brother, Abul-'Abbaas 'Aadil ibn Mansoor, who says that the shaykh, 'Abdul-Muhsin al'Ubaykaan told him:
"How can it be (said) that I have given him a tazkiyah, and I don't even know him?! I did not give him a tazkiyah."
And after hearing some of Abul-Hasan's attacks on Shaykh Rabee', like his statement that Shaykh Rabee' is "their elder who taught them extremism," he replied:
"I seek refuge in Allaah, this is falsehood!"
And upon learning of one of Abul-Hasan's many invented principles, the application of al-Mujmal and al-Mufassal to the speech of everyday authors, he said:
"This is false (baatil) speech, it is not correct."
So move on, Ma'ribee devotees, leave al-'Ubaykaan, as is your way, and continue your search for more general praises, as yet another one has exposed you?
