The State of those who lie upon Ahl us-Sunnah
There have been and there are still groups and individuals creating lies about the scholars and the callers to the Salafi Dawah.
They create lies to turn the people away from the scholars by spreading falsehood to create doubts in the minds of the people, therefore turning them away from the people of knowledge and their call to the sunnah and fight against bidah. People are left confused by their mischief, so the people of knowledge consider these type of liars worse than the people of innovations.
The Noble Shaikh Rabee bin Haadi al-Madkhali said, "These people in the issue of lying are more vile than the Rawafidh and Khawaarij...their lies are worse than the lies of the rawafidh upon Ahl us-Sunnah...and top of that, they falsely and out of deception wear the clothes of Sunnah and they are not from Ahl us-Sunnah"
The Shaikh said, "...and al-haddaad made up 120 lies in part of a book..."
The Shaikh said, "then came Baa Shaameel the liar and I exposed his lies and deviation in my book: Izhaaq Abaateel Baa Shaameelı..."
Then came Faalih al-Harbi who accused the Shaikh of having Irjaa. And he accused Shaikh Muhammad al-Uthaimeen, rahimullaah, of things based upon lies.
The Shaikh said, "By Allaah the Murjiah are better and more noble than them despite them being astray; they are better than those liars."
The Shaikh said, "O brothers, lying is worse than bidah. And the liar is worse with Ahl us-Sunnah than the innovator...Ahl us-Sunnah would narrate from a innovator if his bidah wasnıt from major kufur..."
The Shaikh said, "Ibn Adee, rahimullaah, has arranged in his book 'al-Kaamil' around 29 chapters for the liars and only one for the innovators..."
The Shaikh said, "...Ahl us-Sunnah have accepted the narrations of the people of innovation who have been truthful and those who do not call to it."
And we have in our country ignorant people who out of their desires have chosen this old methodology of telling lies to some of the scholars and spreading them to whoever they may reach, to turn the people away from the callers of the Salafi dawah. They accuse the salafis with deviation and label them with names. So they follow this evil methodology in making up lies trying to aid their pathetic struggle against our Salafi brothers and callers.
