I would like to ask one of the students of knowledge, du'aat or anyone who knows what the people of knowledge have said the following question:
I know that Imam al-Bayhaqee (rahimahullaah) had some mistakes in his aqeedah, but also wrote books which are authentic eg. his book on the punishment of the grave. Is he to be put alongside imams such as an-Nawawee and Ibn hajr? When I say "put alongside" I don't mean in terms of status, I mean was his aqeedah the same as their's?
