A recent study in various African countries has revealed that male circumcision reduces the risk of getting HIV by as much as 50%. Masha'allaah.. That would mean that the already reduced risk of 100% for a practicing Muslim man (except for what Allaah has written) together with the additional 50% would result in a 150% reduction in the risk of getting HIV - and Allaah is the one that has control over all things.
May Allaah protect us all from being afflicted by it and may Allaah strengthen and purify those Muslims that have been afflicted by such and other horrible illnesses.
