As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi ta'ala wa Barakatuh, Ya Ikhwaan.....
I am conducting a query, to find out the need/interest of the Salafis for a 'BOARDING'Madrasatul Tahfiz (Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, etc.) in the UAE (ages 5-10) bi'thnillah ta'ala. Please respond promptly, so we can determine how many are seriously interested and proceed accordingly, inshaAllah ta'ala. can we have rough or exact figures on how many spaces available and how much will it cost per child etc.
boys and girls will be in seperate buildings for both teaching and sleeping?

I know of several who may be interested but there needs to be a thorough investigation and further information detailing EVERYTHING.

Update:-
Currently, we are looking to put together a school in the UAE for children aged 5 -10 or up to Year six. InshaAllah, this will be a boarding school, subject to any legal issues that we may face from the UAE authorities. The school will, insha-Allah, accommodate 30 boys and 30 girls each in there own separate areas. The teachers will also be male or female to each group encouraging the Islamic ethos of segregation.
We are simply awaiting confirmation from the UAE government on the method of starting a boarding school in terms of visa?s etc.
Ethos:-
The school, alhamdulillah, will be based upon the salafi methodology with the emphasis on memorization. Additionally, the importance of Salat, Wudu etc. The school will endeavour to take a practical approach to all the Islamic issues and insha-Allah the children will be taught in Arabic from day one to encourage a good level of understanding from a young age.
Aim:-
We pray, insha-Allah, that we start in September 2004.
75/ 85% of the teaching will be memorization so insha-Allah those students that join in the first year will have memorized the quran by year six or before, inshaAllah ta'ala. Additionally, other books likes Usool Ul-Thalatha, Usool As-Sunnah will be memorized as well insha-Allah. (We will insha-Allah be working with the salafis around the globe to ensure that we approach the issues correctly with the aid and guidance, of course, of the kibaar ulema of this ummah).
Arabic ? the foundation and medium that everything will be taught.
English ? will be taught as a secondary language.
Other subjects ? depends upon resources.
All other information will be given as soon as it is available.
Please make duaa that this venture is successful and verily, all aid and success is with Allah Subhana wa ta'ala.

Jazakum Allaahu khairan for your efforts for opening a school.
Just a point to note that i remember Sheikh Muhammad al Banna mentioning the importance of the mother being around her children in the early years especially upto the age of seven as her love and care for her children is second to no one. So maybe it is a good idea to consult the scholars before opening a boarding school and what they recommend the age should start from and who as a teacher fits the qualities to be working in such a school. and also the curriculum that is to be taught.
Maybe you have already done this and i write this as a reminder to always consult the scholars in our da'wah programs so as to gain the full benefit of knowing exactly what to do and how to do it.
