Indeed Allaah Tabaaraka wa Ta'aalaa informs us in His Mighty Book:

"And assist one another in righteousness and piety and do not assist one another in sin and trangression."

In our efforts to actualise this verse and to put it into practice after being asked by our noble brother in Islaam IBN_ADAAM [haafidhahullaah] to help moderate this site I have decided not to moderate the site anymore. I have not had the ability to give the site the attention it needed and after a few altercations like the moderators inability to delete post and the open door policy as far as registration and some of the fitnah that has arisen as a result of it being too open and not having a screening process which lead me to my decision.

I have to honestly say, that there was a time when the password changed and I was not given the new one for a period of time and when I did recieve it I was still not able to logg into the site as admin. I say this so that I will not be held responsible for some of the posting that was going on without my ability to remove them or to say the least, edit them.

I want to make it evidently clear to everyone to remove the doubts that may have arisen as a result of seeing my name as moderator as some of our brothers and sisters have voiced their concerns to me about my role at www.salafnotkhalaf.com and to silence the doubts that may have arisen as result of it I am presenting to you all this clarifcation.

I have written a number of resignations to the site asking them to remove my name as moderator and walhamdulillah it was removed today. I did not want anyone to have any doubts about me thinking that I was allowing the shubuhaat to continue on without changing it. I am thankful to them for removing my name and lessening the fitnah that was caused as a result of my name being present and our brothers and sisters in Islaam who voiced their concerns to me concerning my role at www.salafnotkhalaf.com .

It is my ardent desire and dua that this site rectifies all of its issues concerning the shubuhaat [doubtful matters] that have arisen as a result of the open registration and the the admins inability to edit and remove the post that are harming this Noble Revealed Dawah! Allaahumma Ameen and I would like to also advise the Admins of the site if they have the ability to develop a screening method which will insure that the registration is a bit more stringent which will alleviate most of the people who have shubuhaat [doubtful matters].

I am declaring my innocence from any fitnah that has arisen concerning www.salafnotkhalaf.com and some of the post that have been posted by some of the members who have caused the integrity of the site to be compromised. May Allaah free this site from those who wish to harm this dawah and from those who want to cause mischief in the land by unleashing the shubuhaat upon the Salafiyeen. Allaahumma Ameen!

Akhukum Fil Islaam,

Abu Ukkaasha

I saw on that website a person called "Abu Sara". This was the person who started the fitnah by posting a thread to bring controversy and doubts. He called it something like "Internet wars" or something, and if I am not mistaken he posted this thread a few times. The admin did nothing, and in fact they even allowed these posts to stay for a few days.

Now the owners of that site have made this person a moderator. This begs belief !? I fear the question (and I hope it should not arise) that is there more than meets the eye?! What explanation does the admin have for this decision after knowing that this person did what he did? It seems like SNK has been or is being used as a platform by people on that board who may intend harm to the dawah and who may desire ikhtilaaf and iftiraaq.

Also creating an account is so easy. In fact, creating 20 accounts is so easy for anyone who wishes to use 20 accounts! With very stroppy admin, no screening policy, and not giving the moderators edit and delete privileges, this is a recipe for fitnah.

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullah,

I too have had a similar thoughts as to what the brother abu.abdul.barr has stated when he sed that theres maybe more "than meets the eye".. also, just to let the brothers and the sisters know that the site, or its "Forums" have now been locked until it gets more "moderators", by the Admin (May allaah preserve him & keep him firm upon Salafiyyah..ameen!).

Wassalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullah.

Aboo Ubyad Taariq Al-Khattakiy
