Some of the places in which Sayyid Qutb and Mawdoodee are quoted as sources in the book Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtoom

_____

During a recent dawrah we had here in Kuwait with our noble brother, Shaykh Abool-'Abbaas 'Aadil Mansoor - حفظه الله - he mentioned the book Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtoom (The Sealed Nectar) and mentioned how its author, Safiyur-Rahmaan al-Mubaarakfooree, quotes from Sayyid Qutb's Fee Thilaalil-Qur'aan in many places.  So due to the Shaykh's refutation, and the great danger found in the books of Sayyid Qutb and the fact that like ourselves, many people may have not even noticed these references, we have quickly collected the places where he quotes from Sayyid Qutb. They are listed here by page number in order for our brothers and sisters to beware of these quotes and not be deceived by whatever accolades may have been bestowed upon this book and it's author (رحمه الله) into thinking that this is the book of the Seerah of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) in English.  Along the way, we also found that he quotes even more from Mawdoodee's Tafheemul-Qur'aan, and list those page numbers after those from Fee Thilaalil-Qur'aan, و الله المستعان !!

quote:
Places where Sayyid Qutb's Fee Thilaalil-Qur'aan is quoted:

  1. pg. 67 (quotes from Sayyid Qutb twice)
  2. pg. 75
  3. pg. 86
  4. pg. 93
  5. pg. 96
  6. pg. 459

quote:
Page numbers where al-Mubaarakfooree quotes from Mawdoodee's Tafheemul-Qur'aan:

  1. pg. 17
  2. pg. 41
  3. pg. 53 (quotes from Mawdoodee twice)
  4. pg. 91 (quotes from Mawdoodee twice)
  5. pg. 93
  6. pg. 102
  7. pg. 106
  8. pg. 122
  9. pg. 208
  10. pg. 444

* Also, on pg. 460, he quotes from Maadhaa khasiraul-'Aalam bi-inhitaatil-Muslimeen of Mawdoodee's student/sidekick Abul-Hasan an-Nadawee.

This is from what was apparent, and if there are more references from the people of innovation found in this book, we will try to add them for our benefit and yours, إن شاء الله .
و الله المستعان

Shaykh Rabee' -حفظه الله - mentions in Raddu kullil-munkaraat wal-ahwaa' wal-akh-taa'i manhajun shar'ee :
"There confronted and opposed these groups- individuals and jamaa'aat -  Imaams of Guidance and signposts in the darkness from the choicest of this Ummah. So they refuted their falsehood and misguidance. So they [the people of innovation] did not come with something from misguidance, nor a doubt except that they refuted it and clarified it's falsity, and clarified the Haqq with a clarification that was clear and following the Qur'aan and Sunnah in showing the falseness of falsehood and it's destruction, and manifesting the Haqq.

And indeed their actions and their jihaad in repelling the mukhaalafaat, and clarification of the condition of its people, and clarification of the great distance of these mukhaalafaat from the guidance of the Book and the Sunnah, and clarification of the rulings of these mukhaalafaat and the rulings of its people from declaring them to be innovators and making inkaar upon them has been recorded.

Indeed they carried out this clarification based upon naseehah to Allaah and His Book and His Messenger and the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk, and preservation of their Deen in numerous books, whether it was in the field of  'Aqeedah, like in the books of  'Aqaa'id, or Ahkaam, like in the books of Fiqh and explanation of Hadeeth, and in the category of the narrations and conveying the Sunnah from Allaah's Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam) like in the books of Rijaal and 'Illal,  and the books in that are in that are innumerable." (see pages 24-27)

Here is an authentic replacement, in shaa` Allaah, by the son of Shaikh Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab:

Biography of the Prophet; Two-Volume Hardcover set, 992 pages, Darussalaam]

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
