Assalamu Alaikum

I would like to know the position of Shaykh Mashoor concerning the fitan of Abul Hasan. He was a student of Imaam Al-Albani (rahimahullah) and I read a good book that Shaykh Mashoor wrote about mistakes made in prayer. When the posts mention the Jordanian Shuyookh they usually refer to Shaykh Saleem al-Hilaalee and Shaykh Ali al-Halabee, so that is why I would like a clarification regarding Shaykh Mashoor's position, to see if he took the same stance as the other two Jordanian Shuyookh.

Jazak Allahu Khairan

Wa alaykum salaam

What I understood from the recent information that brothers have posted on this forum and on sahab.net and anasalafi.net is that we take no knowledge of manhaj from them or in affairs of dawah, as they have severe weakness and also have tamyee. There is some benefit in their tahqeeqaat and risaalaat and kutub which are not connected to manhaj, so one may benefit from them, but realising that they are students of knowledge only, not scholars. Between themselves they may have different levels in knowledge in different areas but they are not scholars. This position applies to all of them. This is what I gathered from what has been posted on sahab, anasalafi and this forum from the kalaam of the Ulamaa. This is probably clear to most people now.

Assalaamu alaikum. The last I heard concerning the mashaayikh is what came from Shaykh Rabee' hafidhahullaah -- that we should withhold our tongues from speaking against them. So where's all this kalaam comin from akh? I haven't exactly seen a jarh mufassar of them. Baarak Allaahu feek.

Assalamu Alaikum

Alhamduillah, the matter is clear for me regarding Shaykh Alee and Shaykh Saleem. However, my original post is specifically in reference to Shaykh Mashoor Hasan Salmaan. Every time the Jordanian Shuyookh are mentioned it is usually referring to Shaykh Alee and Shaykh Saleem. When I did a search on Shaykh Mashoor's name on salafitalk, his name did not appear. So I concluded that maybe Shaykh Mashoor took a different position. Although, from Abu Abdullah's post it appears that Shaykh Mashoor holds the same views.
