Some brothers told me that Shaikh al-Albanee (RahimahUllah), held the opinion that one should follow the imam (in the prayer), exactly the manner he prays. For example if one is praying in a masjid of the 'ahnaf', then he should adopt the 'hanafi' manner of prayer, in other words he can't do 'raf ul yadain', and must place his hands below the navel etc.
Does anyone know of this? If you do, then please explain this for us.
