Recently, the shaikh had us some of us in fits of laughter at the ?umdah al-ahkaam? lesson, whilst explaining the hadeeth: ?the fitra is five: circumcision, shaving the private areas, trimming the moustache, clipping fingernails and plucking the hair under the armpits?. [hadeeth number 27]
He said: As for the hibbee?oon, then we find this group of people opposing each of these characteristics of the sunnan? and then he explained each of them and then their rulings.
From an article entitled "Hippies from A to Z Hippie Fashions and Lifestyles" taken from a hippie website, they had this to say:
