Wa Alaikumus Salaam Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh Insha'Allaah this post will be answered (with proofs and evidences) by someone more knowledgeable than myself. However, from personal experience I would caution against taking knowledge (especially the words of Allaah) from the people of innovations. Some (not all) of the people of bid'ah are fond of changing the "meaning" of the verses and in some cases, even changing the verse itself. For example, some of them change the following verse to read as if Musa spoke to Allaah only and that Allaah did not speak to Musa:
Likewise, it is well known that the people of Jamaa'at Tableegh (and other than them) have misinterpreted the Ayah concerning "going out in the Path of Allaah". At the very least, I would recommend using extreme caution when dealing with the various groups and individuals of innovation, especially when it comes to taking knowledge from them.
