Dear esteemed brothers in Islam I would like to know about the status of the above mentioned book and person. I have been told by some of the local brothers that the book and author have "some issues" but this has never been clarified for me nor were any proofs given. This is particularly important as members of my family are taking from this book/person and I wish what is best for them and hate for them to be led astray.

UPDATE: Salam Alaikum, apparently the name of this person is Yasir Burhami and he is from Egypt.
Can some brothers please advice if they are aware of the status of this individual. wassalam alaikum.
