I received an email today from fatwah online promoting a conference connected to a website that endorses Abu Usamah Athahabi. i was wondering when they decided to align themselves with him.

- Suhaib Hasan - a caller to misguidance and refuted by the ulamah, Shaikh Muqbil, Shaikh Ubaid, Shaikh Muhammad ibn Haadee
- Jam'iyah Ihyaa Turaath of Kuwait - a hizbi group refuted by ulamah, Shaikh Muqbil, Shaikh Rabee, Shaikh Ubaid, Shaikh Al-Albaanee

And why do they ignore events and tele-links organised by the Salafis in Britain?? And why do they send out postings of the AH-YA sect who curse the Ulamah?

Now Fatwa online (a.k.a. madeenah.com) is supporting an organization in Stoke-on-Trent (UK) that is upon the methodology of the Khawaarij!
One of the organisers of this 'Tawheed' Foundation (that is supported by Fatwa-online) sent out an article entitled: "For the Fahdee Lovers out there", and another entitled: "In the Darkness of a Saudi Dungeon - Eye Witness Account of Torture in a Saudi Prison".
This is nothing but the Satanic whisperings from the direction of the Khawaarij! Why and how could any person ascribing themselves to Salafiyyah support this?
And if all this is a mistake, then where is the tawbah? Where is the clarification? Where is the open apology?
Remember this fatwaonline is the same one that sent out several emails in praise of Ahmad Yasin upon his death! Ahmed Yasin was the head and spritual leader of Hamas - the innovated, Ikhwani sect.

As salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah,
When fatwa-online first came on the scene (around 2000), salafipublications.com, troid.org (and others) were amongst the most vigorous in promoting the fatwa-online site, the initiative to develop a fatwa based website for the Muslims was something well-received, emails and announcements were regularly forwarded on the TROID and SP mailing lists and there was evidently clear cooperation with this da'wah effort on the part of SP and TROID. In fact, one might say that these two websites (that preceded Fatwa Online) helped to popularise the fatwa website and showed complete cooperation with this effort at its onset and the praise is for Allaah.
In terms of who/how fatwa-online aligns itself with, I remember a situation many years ago. Around the year 2000 we found one of our articles on their website, we kindly requested that it be referenced to www.troid.org and that it be left intact and. We received a response from the admin. of Fatwa Online who mentioned that he didn't want to ref. troid.org as it may hinder their efforts in reaching a broader audience (since troid.org was/is a site, wal-hamdulillaah that openly discusses the issue of salafiyyah and the term salafee was problematic in this wide-ranged approach). As much as we respected his effort, we wished to insist upon the referencing/terminology being left intact but before being insistent, we sought the intercession of our brother, Abu Khadeejah, lecturer at Masjid as-Salafi - Birmingham. So he advised us with a sound advice towards cooperation and good ties, he said:
"For the sake of the da'wah, let the issue go (release your insistence, even though you don't agree), wallaahi, the brother (Fatwa Online admin.) is a beautiful brother, you would love him if you met him."
So we benefited from this advice by understanding
- Despite disagreeing, the concern from our brother Abu Khadeejah was to maintain good ties (with fatwa online), good cooperation and he sought to mend ties, first and foremost
- That one doesn't always have to hold his position; he may let it go for the overall good (even if he doesn't agree)
- That even though troid.org and salafipublications.com were diligent in referencing fatwa online, promoting their content, adding links to their sites etc. and the cooperation wasn't reciprocated, there was still nothing but respect for the work of the brother (at Fatwa Online) and overall good thoughts
So this is the manner in which we found those at Maktabah Salafiyyah for Fatwa-Online and we accepted this advice and let the issue go. Despite not wanting to ref./affiliate troid.org, as the years passed, the open referencing and affiliation of Green Lane Masjid increased (amongst others) and I think this is an important point, as time was taken to promote the da'wah of those hosting the likes of Yaasir Qadhee and Abu Usaamah (and one can check the threads on Green Lane for a large listing of problems) to the exclusion of Masjid as-Salafi and many of the du'aat in the UK known for their Salafiyyah. In fact if one were to search the yahoogroup for fatwa online, one would find 26 emails referencing ýgreen laneý and 1 referencing ýsalafipublicationsý, both organisations are in the same city, one known for salafiyyah, the other known for hizbiyyah, so there is no doubt as to where their allegiances lie.
Years later, I finally met with an individual involved with fatwa online. In having discussions with him we found that the conversations often and quickly turned to the issues of Abu Khadeejah, Maktabah Salafiyyah and focusing negatively on their efforts, efforts which we see as the most consistent and most clear in spreading the salafee da'wah and connecting the people to their Scholars in the West dating back more than 15 years!
In one instance, I had breakfast with one of the representatives of fatwa online in which it was the first time we met, the conversation turned quickly to speaking about Abu Khadeejah this and Abu Khadeejah that...and when we had barely met! I just remembered years early, how Abu khadeejah how spoken so well of the same individual, protecting his honour and encouraging us with cooperation and good thoughts wallaahul musta'aan.
So we respected our brothers and their efforts in giving da'wah, we gave them our attention and listened to what they had to say and we did not find except that their contention (with Maktabah Salafiyyah) seemed personal and misplaced and that is was a debacle that they would support and promote Green Lane Masjid and speak against Masjid as-Salafi. Lastly, there should be no doubt in anyoneýs mind that Maktabah Salafiyyah (and TROID for that matter) sought to cooperate with Fatwa Online for many years, turning a blind eye to much, until it became something no longer possible due to the allegiances they (Fatwa Online) attached themselves too. We ask Allaah for safety, ameen.

A few weeks ago Fatwa-online sent on their mailing list an email link to a pdf on the website of Masjid & Madrasah al-Tawhid of Dr. Suhaib Hasan which apparently defends MJAH (Green Lane Mosque) against the "attacks" of SPUBS.
Attached screenshot is from the homepage of that website.
Should a website affiliating with manhaj of Salaf us Salih link to blog feeds of websites where the lectures of the [url=http://salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=8425]Deobandi[/url] Mufti [url=http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=3647&sortby=asc]Taqi Uthmani[/url] are translated?
Further under links, under the section "LEARN ABOUT ISLAM", they(Masjid al-Tawhid) have links to websites of [url=http://salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=5611]Dr. Zakir Naik-promoted Peace TV[/url], [url=http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=16&Topic=932]Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid[/url] and [url=http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=9&Topic=6237]Tawfique Chowdhury's institute[/url]. What kind of Islam are those who frequently visit these links or see these television channels or join such institutes going to learn about? Will it be the Salafi manhaj?

SHAMEFUL DOUBLE STANDARDS & IGNORANCE
It is shameful that websites set up and using the name of 'Madeenah', till this day defend this Jam'iyyah Ahlul-Hadith UK, and send out email shots to thousands advertising their events - Yet they continue to leave posts attacking Salafi Publications on their site, without evidence!
The Shaikh and Allaamah Ubaid al-Jaabiree, may Allaah preserve him, was right when he stated, "And here, may Allaah bless you, I note regarding my saying, 'Some of them are from the Islamic University of Madeenah', that it is not permissible that it be understood from this that the University is responsible for them. These actions of theirs are from themselves, and the University is not responsible for the behaviour of individuals or groups from amongst its students."
They do not realise that excusing deviation and bid'ah is not an option if one knows and is able. Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H) said:

"And another group, [then] they do not know the 'aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah as is obligated, or they know a part of it and are ignorant regarding a part of it, and that which they know, they conceal and do not explain it to the people, and they do not forbid the bid'ah and they do not censure Ahlul-Bid'ah nor punish or subdue them.
Rather they may even have disparaging remarks with respect to the Sunnah and the foundations of the Deen, not distinguishing between the speech of Ahlus-Sunnah and that of Ahlul-Bid'ah wal-Furqah. Or they accept the different madhhabs of bid'ah just as the 'ulemah excuse each other in the issues of ijtihaad in which there is [genuine] difference. And this is the condition of many of the murji'ah, and some of the Thinkers, the Soofees and the Philosophers" (Majmoo' al-Fataawa Vol 12, slightly abridged). |

Shaykhul-'Allaamah Rabee' Ibn Haadee al-Madkhaalee said:
"We have been afflicted in these days with those who falsely accuse true Salafis of being extreme and harsh in al-Jarh wat-Taýdeel (praising and criticising) and in other areas. He wages war against them in the most severe fashion whilst he makes peace with the people of innovation and desires, heaping praise and commendations upon them.
So (you find that) he falls into tamyee' when dealing with the people of innovation and at the same time he shows a destructive form of extremism towards the people of Sunnah and the truth.
His anger and his pleasure are in accordance to that which he desires and in agreement with those whom he aspires to embrace from the wealthy and rich." 23/Muharram/1430
So instead of aiding their brothers and aiding the Sunnah, and exposing the modernist, rationalist ideology of the people who call to misguidance, they conceal and do not explain it to the people. They add to that calamity by attacking those people who clarify and explain the truth and forbid the bid'ah and forbid misguidance - ignoring the fundamental errors of the Jami'yyah and seeking out whatever they can to expose Salafi Publications. Indeed they even regard the calamatous errors of the Jam'iyyah as the 'ulemah excuse each other in the issues of ijtihaad in which there is genuine difference!
And their answer, once cornered with the gravity of errors of the 'Jam'iyyah Ahlul-Hadith UK', is, "Why do you not advise them? They are your brothers!" - Allaahu akbar! Firstly: What do they think the scholars, the great and the good of them, have been doing for the last 15 years? Indeed, even this refutation is an advice for the Jam'iyyah to return and repent. Secondly: We say to them: Why did you not advise your brothers at Maktabah Salafiyyah before slandering them and inventing falsehood about them and then relaying that to others without proof? These are the shameful double-standards of these people in defence of the Jam'iyyah. So, O reader, do not be deceieved by them, may Allaah protect you.

Jamiat Ahle Hadith UK (Greenlane Mosque) states: 'Taste the sweetness, 3 day seminar by Shaikh Adnaan Abdul Qaadir', rather we say to them; 'O Muslims! Greenlane has lied and deceived, rather they are calling you to taste the bitterness and disgusting taste of hizbiyyah in the company of one of the callers to Ihyaa Turaath'

O Sunni Athari, Ihyaa turaath used to send Abdur-rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq on missions to destroy salafiyyah, but now he hides behind the scene after the ulama revealed his evil reality to Ahlus Sunnah.
However, Ihyaa Turaath continues to send callers to destroy salafiyyah, and Jamiat Ahle Hadith (Greenlane Mosque) are willing welcomers of those who seek to destroy salafiyyah. This greenalne masjid guest Adnaan Abdur Qaadir is upon the same manhaj Greenlane is upon. The figureheads at Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth UK praise innovators and Adnaan Abdur Qaadir is also one who praises the heads of innovations.

'As for Sayyid Qutb, then indeed he was passionate about presenting the goals and basic principles of every soorah before beginning in it's tafseer in his book Fee Thilaalil-Qur'aan..."

Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) said about the Tafseer of Sayyid Qubt:

Brothers it is clear that this guest of Greenlane Mosque (Adnaan abdul qaadir) is another caller to sayyid Qubt. It does not surprise us when we hear the figure heads of Jamiat Ahle hadeeth UK such as Abdul Haadee and Suhaib hasan praising ahlu bidah, because their quests and companions are from those who praise the heads of innovations.
So may Allaah keep you firm and grant you the tawfeeq to reject the innovators and their hosts.
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) said:
'So I say to the British brothers, Allaah will not cause you to perish; and whoever knows something of ILM, then let him teach his brothers. And I advise you to be distant from these ones (i.e Jam-iyyah Ihyaa Turaath), and seek from the virtuous scholars to send you one who will teach you, because learning is of the most benefit to you. Wa-lil-laahil hamd, this is what has been taking place. The guests of our brothers at maktabah salafiyyah are those upon goodness. The likes of Shaikh Falaah Ismaa-eel, Shaikh Anjari and others, and not the hizbiyyoon of Jamiat Ihyaa Turaath.
So when will fatwah-online and their sister sites free themselves from Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth UK Greenlane? May Allaah grant madeenah.com and fatwah-online the tawfeeq to return to justice and truthfulness (Aameen)

Shaikh Muhammad Bin Umar Baazmool stated:
Salfiyyah is founded upon three fundamental principles, and they are:
[1]Sincerity in worshipping Allaah
[2]Sticking to the Jamaaýah and to listen and obey (the Muslim rulers)
[3]Caution against innovation and the mubtadiýa
The sheikh then stated:
'These three (affairs) gather that which the religious and worldly affairs of the people are established upon. Shaikhul Islaam Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahhaab (rahimahullaah) said: ýýThere has not occurred a defect in the religions and worldly affairs of the people, except as a cause of defects in these three (affairs) or in some of them'[manhajus Salafi]end of quote

Point no: 3 in particular is where the misconceptions are arising in recent years. It has either been compromised or exaggerated by some of those who attribute themselves to the Sunnah and salafiyyah.
Had they only been truthful and implemented point number 3 in accordance to the verdicts of the Scholars, then they would not have faced any difficulty when the verdicts of the scholars are transmitted either against the ghulaat or the mutasaahiloon.
However, both groups have adopted the destructive path of lies, exaggeration, deceit and political games in attempting to solidify the two extremes, and that is the Tasaahul of the allies of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Uk (Greenlane), who wage a war of lies against Maktabah Salafiyyah in order to safeguard that Tasaahul portrayed as rifq towards ahlus sunnah, and on the other hand are the Ghulaat amongst some of the foolish ignorant youth, who claim that their path is the balanced one without any approval from the experienced and old wise scholars.
Firstly, the Mutasaahiloon employ deceit lies and slander against Salafipublications because they desire that SP should stop transmitting the verdicts of the scholars against the hizbiyyoon of Greenlane wal-laahul musta'aan. They wish to be followed in that Tasaahul that has afflicted those who are not cautious of those who ally with ahlul bidah wal ahwaa.
They lie to themselves and portray the affairs with an image different from its true reality, because Greenlane clearly shows us its hizbiyyah and allegiance to the destructive hizbi organization of Ihyaa turaath.
As for the foolish, excitable and ignorant youth amongst the Ghulaat, then they have gone beyond bounds in warning against bidah to the extent that they commit sins and attack some of the inheritors of the Prophets. This is due to Jahl, self-amazment and having a good opinion of themselves. Likewise, they utilize lies and slander alongside the dawah of guluww and shiddah upon jahl.
Be mindful of Allaah O youth, and take the advice of Shaikh Rabee before it is too late, as Shaikh Falaah Ismaaýeel usually recites the proverb:
'If there is no aid and assistance from Allaah to a young man, then the first thing that will settle/terminate his affair is his own independent judgement' wal-iyaadho-billaah.

And we remind both parties to fear Allaah and stop utilizing their websites in preaching either this Ghuluww or Tasaahul. And we remind them to abandon the destructive path of lies and slander as has been their habitual practice against salafipublications and the duýaat.
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) stated:
Truthfulness Is Salvation and Lying Is Destruction
Beware of lies, for indeed it corrupts you in your conceptualization and portrayal of (factual) information in the manner it should be. It corrupts you in your portrayal and conceptualization and in (your) educating the people!
For indeed, the liar portrays what is non existent to be existent, and that which is existent to be non existent, and that which is truth to be falsehood and falsehood as truth, and that which is good to be evil and evil as good; so it corrupts his conceptualization and knowledge, as a punishment upon him.
Then he portrays that to the soul of the one who is addressed, the one who is deceived and is inclined towards him; so he corrupts his conceptualization and knowledge. The heart of the liar is turned away from the existent reality and is inclined towards that which is non existent, and gives preference to falsehood.
And when his strength of conceptualization and his knowledge are corrupted, which is the starting point of (performance) of actions through freewill, then such actions become corrupted and the verdict of lying becomes effective, so that it emanates from him just as lies emanates from the tongue, and thus he is neither benefited by his tongue nor by his actions.
And due to this, lying is the basis of evil as the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said:
'Indeed lying leads to evil deeds and evil deeds leads to the fire'

The Double And Seasonal Manhaj Of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth

A reminder to the believers with regards to the evil consequences
of rejecting the haqq after it has been made clear and manifest
Allaah (The Most High) said:
'O you who believe! Answer Allaah (by obeying Him) and (his) Messenger
when he (the messenger) calls you to that which will give you life, and
KNOW THAT ALLAAH COMES BETWEEN A PERSON AND HIS HEART' [8:24]
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim mentioned some of the statements of the mufassiroon on
this ayah, and from those statements is that:
If they (i.e. believers) turn away and delay in answering the call of
Allaah and His Messenger, they are not safe from Allaah coming between them
and their hearts; and after that it becomes impossible for them to answer
the call, as a PUNISHMENT FOR ABANDONING THE TRUTH AFTER IT HAS BEEN MADE
CLEAR AND MANIFEST. So they become like [those mentioned] in the statement
of Allaah:
'And We shall turn their hearts and their eyes away (from guidance), as
they refuse to believe therein for the first time' [8:110]
End of quote [Al-Fawaa-id; page: 144]

Wallaahul Musta-aan brothers, we must ask Allaah for thabaat and ikhlaas,
so that we are not turned away after the haqq is made manifest and clear.
The affair of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Uk, Abdul Haadee, Abu Usaamah and their
associates is very clear. Therefore, what is incumbent upon us is to look
to the evidences that warrant boycotting this Jamiat, rather than being
distracted by their tactics and utilization of influential guests to give
themselves a good image.
Indeed, those they invite to their conferences have either been lied to, or
that they are there to advice and refute them, or they do not know their
reality. Brothers, what is manifestly clear is that sheikh Ubaid has
warned against this Jamiat based on the clear evidences presented on this
website.
Therefore, do we turn away from the evidences by co-operating with Jamiat
Ahle Hadeeth just because they attract influential guests, or do we hold
onto the correct manhaj position at all times as it relates to boycotting
them? Indeed, sincerity to this manhaj takes precedence and we are not
to be frustrated by the seasonal manhaj stunts of Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth UK;
for they display salafiyyah during conference time and embrace ahlul bidah
during the year.
Likewise, Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth UK and their leader Abdul Haadee are a people
upon open allegiance to the hizbiyyoon of Ihyaa Turaath, of those who seek
to find excuses for the takfeeri sayyid qutb and the qutbi Adnaan Ar-oor.
Indeed Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth Uk and the callers to the hizbiyyoon of ihyaa
turaath are not similar to Maktabah Salafiyyah and the salafis of Wright
street whose manhaj is one throughout the year Walil-laahil hamd.

Eagerness for Rifq Is Good, But Why Are You (Fatwah-Online/Madeenah.com) Not Eager To Stop the Repugnant and Persistent Hizbiyyah of Your Allies at Greenlane?

Fatwah-Online/Madeenah.com recently reminds us of the statements of the scholars and their recommendations that ahlus sunnah must have rifq towards ahlus sunnah. This is something good and we follow our ulama, but there is no doubt that our ulama are fore-most in waging war against hizbiyyah and exposing the false claimants to salafiyyah.
A Few Requests To Fatwah-online/Madeenah.com
Firstly, can fatwah online/madeenah.com clarify to those people who have been confused and affected by the people of repugnant hizbiyyah regarding the salafiyyah of certain personalities and organizations? Is this Rifq to be extended to Abul Hasan Al-Maribi, Muham-mad Al-Maghraawi, Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq of Ihyaa Turaath, Ad-naan Ar-oor, Usaamah Qoosee and other innovators; for the ulama have established the evidence against these individuals by way of Jarh Mufassar. Is Fatwah-online/madeenah.com able to clarify to its readers and when will it do so!?
Secondly, the stances of our ulama towards the likes of Abul Hasan Al-Maribi is well known. Is Fatwah-online/madeenah.com able to show that it is not allied to those allied to Maribi such as the likes of Abu Usaamah Adh-Dhahabi, Greenlane and others!?
It is only fair that Fatwah-online/madeenah.com are to inform its readers of Shaikh Saaleh As-Suhaymiýs stance towards Maribi (Al-Mubtadi), so that those deceived by Greenlane can come to know of the allies and companions of Greenlane. Is Fatwah-online/Madeenah.com able to do this and when will it do so!?
Thirdly, the Ulamaa have established the evidence against Ihyaa Turaath by way of Jarh Mufassar, so is Fatwah-online/madeenah.com able to show that it is not allied to those allied to Ihyaa Turaath, such as Abu Usaamah Adh-Dhahabi and Greenlane!? Is Fatwah-Online able to do this and when will it do so!?
Finally, Shaikh Saaleh As-Suhaymi has recommended a book Titled: [Ad-Durar Adh-Dhahabiyyah Fee Usool Wa Minhaaj Ad-Dawatus Salafiyyah] and he (hafidha-hullaah) stated that the student of knowledge in particular cannot do without this book. In this book the author has a section titled: [Tareef Bi-badil Manaahij Al-Jadeeda] and under this section the author wrote: [The partisan group of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen] and he further gave a list of some of The Groups Of Innovations and their Figureheads. The figureheads mentioned include Hasan Al-Banna, Sayyid Qutb, Mawdoodi, Muhammad Qutb, Muhammad Soroor, Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq etc (page:85...)]

So Abdur-Rahmaaan Abdul Khaaliq was mentioned amongst the heads of hizbiyyah in this book that was read and recommended by Shaikh Saaleh As-Suhaymi.
Is Fatwah-online/Madeenah.com aware of this? If they are aware of this, will they translate the recommendation of the Shaikh on page 7 and send it out in their mailing list, so that ahlus sunnah in the west become more aware of Greenlane and Abu Usaamah Adh-Dhahabi, for there are allies of Ihyaa Turaath, the organization of Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq (The Mubtadi).
Is Fatwah-online/madeenah.com able to inform the Ulama that Greenlane and Abu Usaamah are allies of the organization of Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq and that they (i.e. Fatwah-online/Madeenah.com) are allies of Greenlane!? When will Fatwah-online/madeenah.com do so!?
We wait for this clarification from Fatwah-online/madeenah.com, because we find them eager upon that path of finding excuses for Greenlane even if that means oppressing Salafipublications. However, we do not condone oppression against anyone, but we expect Fatwah-online/madeenah.com to expose the repugnant and persistent hizbiyyah of Green-lane.
When will Fatwah-online/Madeenah.com and its supporters at ahya website [Munkaraat.com] cease its hostility towards those who establish the correct manhaj positions as opposed to the repugnant and persistent hizbiyyah of their allies at Greenlane!?
We ask Allaah for thabaat, sidq, ikhlaas and insaaf

Madeenah.com have lied that they have no links or ties with green-lane or Jam'eeyah Ahlil Hadeeth!! What about promoting their conferences ??!!
