Shaykh Muhammad al-Bannaa on the Allegations that the Students of Shaykh Muqbil Have Changed After His Death - Shaykh Muhammad Ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab al-Bannaa refutes that allegation that the students of Shaykh Muqbil (d.1421H) have changed and altered after his death. He further clarifies that the school of Shaykh Muqbil in Dammaaj is the best place today to learn true Salafiyyah with knowledge and action.

Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhaab Al-Banna (hafeedahullaah) on Dammaaj
A speaker says and now I shall name for you some of the modern day eminent personalities of salafiyyah;
They are the noble outstanding sheikhs ?Abdul-?Aziz Ibnul Baaz, Muhammad Nasirudeen Al-Albanee, Muhammad Salih Al-?Uthaymeen, Muqbil Ibnul Hadee?, ?Abdur-Razzaq ?Afeefi, Muhammad Aman Al- Jamee, Hamad Al-Ansaree, Saalih Al-Fawzaan, Rabee? Ibnul Hadee Al-Madkhali, Ahmad An-Najmi, ?Abdul-Muhsin Al- Abbaad, Muhammad ?Abdul-Wahaab Al-Banna, and his brother Hasan ?Abdul-Wahaab Al-Banna.
The Sheikh Muhammad Ibn ?Abdul-Wahaab Al-Banna comments: ?I am not an ?Alim, may Allah guide you. Fine, you have forgotten Sheikh Muqbil Al-Wadi?ee ?
Speaker: No I have mentioned him.
The Sheikh: He is from the best of the salafiyeen, meaning there is no one who has had more of an effect upon his students and his country more than Sheikh Muqbil. Wallahi now his students are from the best of what there is.
Speaker: Meaning it is not as some have claimed that they have changed and altered after Sheikh Muqbil.
Shaikh: Wallahi I don?t know what to say, wallahi, meaning now the best place to learn salafiyyah upon its reality with knowledge and action is Dammaaj, wallahi. Now the ikhwaanul mufliseen have entered into makkah and corrupted it. Wallahi, meaning the one who is destitute can learn the correct salafiyyah along with action in Dammaaj. This Al-Ma?rabee has come to tear them apart, may Allah guide him or shatter his back.

Shaikh Rabee' al Madhkhalee (hafeedhahullaah) praises the students of Imaam Muqbil (raheemahullaah) in Dammaaj
The questioner says:
What is the condition of the school which was founded by the Sheikh al- Alaamah Muqbil ibnu Hadee al- Waadi?ee raheemahullaahu ta?ala, because some of the people have begun to speak about them and revile them and what is your advice to the people of Yemen in these schools?
The Sheikh?s response:
Wallahi that which we believe is that they are in the best of conditions walillahilhamd and they have established the da?wah to Allah and to His tawheed and to making the religion sincerely for Him and to following the Prophet salalahu alayhi wa sallam. And they are skilled in attaining knowledge and spreading it. And in the da?wah to Allahu tabarakahu wa ta?ala their works please and delight the chests of the believers, and every true believer is happy with them and every liar and person of desire is angered by them wa?iyyadhubillah.
He goes on to say,
Meaning in Dammaaj alone as has been conveyed to us they have reached 5-7,000 who are busy with knowledge day and night. They do not have vacations nor celebrations nor other than that. Knowledge day and night, and they study various sciences, al-Hadeeth, and Tafseer, and Fiqh and Grammar and other than that from the Islamic sciences. BarakaAllahu feekum, may Allah grant them success. Likewise other than them from the schools have diligence and activity in spreading of the daw?ah. All of that is established upon the path of the salaf, zuhd, and piety and uprightness upon the path of the salafus salih. Sheikh Muqbil has educated them upon these manners, so they have not lowered their heads and they have not held out there hands for the jami?yyaat of hizbiyyah which call themselves charitable. Khayriyyah, those who hold out there hands to those who subjugate them and those who traverse the paths of al-hizbiyyah and who oppose the salafi minhaaj. And they have held their heads high and they have not surrendered and they have not been tempted by the wealth of these ones, and they have been patient upon good and bad times. They have been patient and thankful. They remind us of the time of the salafu salih in terms of tawakkul, reliance upon Allah and dependence upon Him and dignity and integrity and spreading of this minhaaj for the face of Allah tabarakahu wa ta?ala and we ask Allah to sustain them with sincerity.
He further states,
And my advice to them is to have mutual affection for each other, to stand united in solidarity and to hold firmly together and to strengthen the brotherhood and to not lend their ears to hearsay since the enemies of the Sunnah are expending great effort, they do not become tired and do not become fatigued in attempting to divide them and tear them apart. So they hide here and there, those who would spread causes of divisions, and clashes, and disagreement.
To end he states,
So my advice to myself and to them is that they must not lend their ears to these evil doers, who cause corruption in the earth and do not benefit and they become enraged because the Sunnah of Rasoolullaah is being spread and that the salafi minhaaj is being spread so they strive through many causes to overcome the salafiyeen and divide them so let them beware of the plots of these ones. We ask Allah to make us and them firm upon the Sunnah; indeed our Lord surely hears the du?aa.
Wa sallallaahu ?alaa nabeeyina Muhammad wa ?alaa aalihee wa sahbihee wa sallam.
