it has recently come to my attention (sorry if this was mentioned already) that he did a talk on similarities between Hinduism and Islam...
that's equivalent to saying "the similarities between tawheed and shirk"!!!

May Allaah reward you, Sajid, for recommending that article "Two Ways to Know the Creator" from the words of Ibn al-Qayyim.
Just recently, a visitor from Falastine whom had with him many doubts - borrowing from the deviant 'aqidah of the Khawarij, Ikhwanul Muslimeen, Hammas, Mu`tazila - interupted a conversation regarding Tawheed and Shirk a few Salafis were having by asking the same innovative question that the deviant Az-Zindani and his likes ask.
He was informed this was bid'ah, his doubts were replaced with truth, he was directed to Shaikh Hishaam Al 'Aarif when he returns to Falastin, and all Praise is due to Allaah.
Al-Hamdulillaah, All Praise is due to Allaah, Who saves from doubts those amongst His slaves He chooses.
This article is highly beneficial.

The attachment has the screenshots from IRF's website where they have displayed pictures of non-Muslim's idols. This is in direct opposition to what the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi-wasallam) said, "Do not leave any image, but [instead] efface it." (Sahih Muslim) Note that the effacement of these idols is done by me in the attached screenshots.

In the "Peace Conference" that is being organized by Dr. Zakir Naik, there will be Anasheed sung by Zain Bhikha and Abdullah Rolle. See attached screenshots from Peace Conference website which gives short biographies of these nasheed singers.

There are a number of other dangers.
Some of the mashaayikh have written about this, may Allaah reward them well. They have written valuable books personifying their harms and warning from them, like what the virtuous shaykh, Dr. Bakr Aboo Zayd wrote, and like what the virtuous shaykh 'Abdus-Salaam ibn Burjis Aali 'Abdil-Kareem wrote, and like what the shaykh Hamood At-Tuwayjiree wrote. So reveiw them and what is found in them regarding the benefits (of plays and fictional stories), since the real harms that result from them are many times more. And preventing harm takes a precedence over gaining benefit. - Al-Muntaqaa (2/222).
At the Peace Conference event in 2007, kids including Dr. Zakir Naik's son Fariq Naik, were mimicking the speakers at that event like Dr. Bilal Philips, Abdur Raheem Green, etc.

Allahul Musta'an. Are Mr. Deedat rahimahullah and Dr. Naik "Scholars"? Sometime back Dr. Naik used to refer to himself as "Student of Comparative religion". Sometimes he refers to himself as "Student of Knowledge". Sometimes he is referred as "Orator". Sometimes he is referred as "Allaamatul Muslimeen" by some of his supporters. And now "World Renowned Scholar"!
May Allah guide these "Orators" to the correct manhaj and guide those who support them or listen to their lectures. Aameen.

Fatwa of Permanent Committee on the forbiddence of reading the books of non-Muslims by common Muslims and beginning Students of Knowledge
This is a naseeha to the Muslims to stay away from wasting their time on watching Peace TV and instead learn tawheed and Sunnah from the authentic sources and from the Rabbani Ulemah and their Students. It is also a naseeha to Dr. Naik and Peace TV owners and promoters to spend more time on seeking knowledge of the deen from the Salafee mashaykh and then give Da'wah based on the manhaj of the Salaf as-Salih.

And I can confirm what Br. Abu Khadeejah said regarding Dr. Naik praising Salman al-Oadah and Safar al-Hawali in the 2nd link above.
Some years ago I saw on ARY Digital Channel when Dr. Naik had gone to Pakistan, someone asked him a question regarding suicide bombing in the live phone-in question programme. And he mentioned (paraphrased) that there is a difference of opinion. Some Scholars like Shaykh Ibn Baz and Shaykh Uthaymeen deem it impermissible. While other Scholars like Shaykh Salman al-Oadaah and Shaykh Safar al-Hawalee deem it permissible under certain conditions.Allahul Musta'an! Will someone who is knowledgeable about the Madhab of Ahlus Sunnah even try to make a remote comparison between Imaams Ibn Baaz and Ibn Uthaymeen raheemuhumullah and individuals like al-Oadah & al-Hawali?

In case some don't know about some of the authors then, know that Mawdudi was the first Ameer of the deviant group Jamate islami. Shibli Naumani was a Deobandi. Muhammed Zakariyya Kandhelwi is called Shaykhul Hadith by Tablighi Jamaat.
Now some might claim that he also sells books by Salafee Ulemah like Shaykh Ibn Baaz, Shaykh Rabee & others. The answer would be similar to what Shaykh Falaah hafidhahullah gave below

In the "About IRF" section on the website of Dr. Naik's organization (Islamic Research Foundation), it says | quote: |

Note that "Explanations of the Salaf"(Sahaabah, Tabieen, Atba ut tabieen and Imaams after them) is missing in the quote above.
Also read the statements of the Salaf censuring logic, ilm ul kalaam, etc. on the various Salafee websites and even this forum.
Doesn't Dr. Naik need to go and learn the Deen from the Ulemah of Ahlul Athar before he gives "Da'wah"?

This was after the Shia were condemning him after the Peace Conference in 2007.
What prevented our Brother in Islam, Dr. Naik from quoting from Qur'an and Sunnah? What prevented him from quoting from the Salafee Ulemah of the past and Present? He has to use a Deobandi Fatwa to protect himself from the Rafidhi criticism!
Similarly there are press-releases on the internet regarding this same issue in which Dr. Naik lists the various organizations and Scholars who have given fataawa which support his stand. In that also he lists Darul Uloom Deoband at the top!
Interestingly, the Deobandis have given quite a few fataawa telling their followers to not listen to Dr. Naik. One such fatwa from their website is attached.
