Is this man al-Maqdisee known to the Salafyoon? I hear he is the "knowledge-base" of the contemporary Jihaadees and Khaarijees. His website is [remove]. Would the Tullaab u-'Ilm bring to light his manhaj, wa baarakallahu feekum.

On the website which promotes al Maqdisie you can find all sorts of takfiries such as:
-Ad Dhawahirie; -Abu Qatadaah; -Ibn Laden; -Abu Baseer; -Al Faraadj; -Djunaymaan al Otaybie; -Al Fizazie; -Az Zarqawie; -Abdel Khaaliq; -Sayd Qutb; -Mohammed Qutb; -Omar Abderahmaan and many others.
Their main focus is on:
1) Attacking the Salafi Ullamaa; 2) Saying that Djihaad is fard ayn (without going themselves); 3) That ruling with other than Allaah has revealed is Kufr Akbaar absolutely; 4) That Khuruudj must be made against the leaders;
-They promote every person which falls under these 4 points, even though they have enormous errors in their creed, fiqh and even are opposed to each other!
Aboe Mohammed al Maqdisie:
As you can read in the given link: This person is not a Scholar and not even close being one! He is heavily refuted in a number of books:
1.By Shaych Mohammed Bazmoel Hafidahoellaah:
Shaych Bazmoel points out that al Maqdisie does not understand the issue of takfier, walaa wal baraa and also that he misquotes Imaams of the Dawaah Nadjdiyaah to proof his faulty way;
2. Shaych al Otaybie hafidahoellaah shows that Al Maqdisie does not understand terminologies which he uses such as:
-Taghoet;
3. Shaych ar Rays with a foreword from Shaych al Fawzaan, al Obaykaan en al Ubaylaan Hafidahoemoellaah.
This book shows that:
-Al Maqdisie has no studies as a Scholar; -Has double standards with regards to his takfier; -Does not understand the issues such as tabdiel, al Hukm bi ghayri maa anzaal Allaah etc.
Lastly Shaych Rabi Hafidahoellaah also refuted him in al Maqdisies pathetic defence of Sayd Qutb in which he wanted to refute Shaych ad Duwaish Rahiemmahoellaah...
