I (Dawud Adib) am posting this because our brothers are probably engaged in worship or sleeping right about now and we - in the States - are about to pray the Ishaa and I had the time to do so! So from the baab of helping one another in al-Birr and at-Taqwaa, I took the liberty to get this thing out as fast as possible.
May Allaah protect our two named brothers and all of us!
Concerning the Recently Publicised Email

Wa ba`ad:
To whom it concerns,
Yes, the email from me as timestamped is authentic. However, my email has been tampered with, with words being omitted and also my sentences clipped. I have the original with me and I can confirm that this version of the email, as it is, has been played with. And whoever played and tampered with it, did it so that what would otherwise have been understood from the email, i.e. that we have contacted major scholars and consulted them on this issue, and they are well aware of the situation, is no longer understood, due to the clipping and tampering of this email. The specific references in my email to one of the major scholars have been clipped, and in which it is clear that our way of dealing with this issue, and our understanding of it comes from the scholars and not ourselves. However, these specific parts of my email have been clipped so as to give the false impression that there is a "conspiracy" and that this matter originates from us, when this is not the case at all. So I advise them to fear Allaah.
I request that the person who made this public and publicised it that he make himself known, who he is and where he is, and that if he was responsible for this tampering of my email (giving him the benefit of the doubt as there could have been a number of steps in the transmission of the email to him), that he publicly apologise and repent to Allaah and to make amends. Otherwise he is considered to be in the ranks of the liars.
And if he thinks that his action of attempting to cause harm and disrepute to us with this method has worked or will work, then then he should think otherwise. Since, we are with the senior and major scholars and we do not speak before them in these matters and nor does our way of dealing with great affairs such as these come independently from our own selves. However, my email has been tampered with in order to cause mischief.
Secondly, I am surprised that these two individuals from Bombay, India, who are the remains of the Ahl ul-Hadeeth, Youth Association, should be giving prominence to this issue as not too long ago, they were allowing the Muhaddith, Shaykh al-Albaani, and the Jordanian Shaykhs to be cursed by Abdullaah al-Farsee, and they were not bothered about his speech concerning Shaykh al-Albaanee and the claim that he agrees with the Murij'ah. The many statements of Abdullaah al-Farsee to be found on alSaha forums and others speaking about the Jordanians, using vile and foul language, are too numerous to mention, and his propaganda campaign over the last year and a half is well known. All of this is documented. So I am surprised that these particular individuals should make an issue out of this, with an email of mine that has been tampered with.
Thirdly, this email of mine was sent (as advice) following the open attacks made by some of the Jordanian Shaykhs against Shaykh Rabee` specifically, and the scholars of Saudi in general, and also their defence of the principles of Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee. Many of us here were shocked to see that they would actually be that bold to come out with these things. And many Salafees here in the UK felt bitter about the way they had caused doubts and confusion about the major scholars. We were in fact surprised that they would come out and start the "fight" against the scholars in this way. Despite all of that and despite how hurt we were with their attacks upon the Saudi Shaykhs, we, following the advice of Shaykh Rabee' did not make this issue open, until we are preceded by a group from the people of knowledge from the major scholars. Since, certainly there are many affairs of manhaj in which they need correcting. And this is exactly what I advised Maaz Qureshi.
And after all of this, the advice I gave, still holds and I still say it. That basically we should wait till Shaykh Rabee and some of the other major scholars open this affair up with the Jordanian Shaykhs and until then have patience. This way, people are more likely to see things more objectively, rather than fall into blameworthy hizbiyyah due to their personal and emotional attachments. And because there are to be found in the West those who have unfortunately shown blind hizbiyyah to the Jordanians and they are actively defending Abul-Hasan al-Ma`ribee, and likewise I see that they would actively defend the Jordanians, even if valid criticisms were made against them regarding the manhaj, then because of this, it would be better to wait and let other scholars to come out and raise the issues for which they need advice and correction. This way, it would make sure that the people look at things more objectively, due to the strength in the collective words of the numerous Shaykhs who have spoken or are speaking on the issue and thus, the people are not put to trial by those will start to spread doubts about specific Shaykhs who are speaking on this issue (as they did on the issue of Abul-Hasan al-Ma`ribee). Further, this matter is now out in the open anyhow, as Shaykh Rabee' has began to ask the Jordanians to retract from their attacks.
Alhamdulillaah, this very approach was taken with the issue of Abul-Hasan and most people are clear about his deviation, even those who were originally confused. However, had we began this issue 12-14 months ago, when only the Yemeni Shaykhs were refuting Abul-Hasan for his errors, most people would not have been satisfied. However, when Shaykh Faalih spoke and likewise, Shaykh Rabee' it strengthened the whole affair and the people were able to put trust in the valid criticisms directed towards Abul-Hasan, and now you have 15 or so scholars in total and even Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin and Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan have spoken on some of the evil speech of Abul-Hasan, then the matter is much more clear and is less of a fitnah for the people. Yet alongside all of this you still found those who displayed Hizbiyyah towards Abul-Hasan! So I think the point is clear. And this was the message given in my email in this particular issue.
Hence, I support what I said in that email, and now that it is open, I support it openly, much to the dislike and dismay of whoever made it public in order to harm us. These people who are publicising this email are living in cloud cuckoo land and seem to be unaware of what has happened in recent months (but in reality much longer) of the attempted separation of the Ummah from the major scholars of Saudi Arabia. And it is not surprising that they took my email and twisted it. And as for these individuals who are actively propagating this matter, then they are no more than remnants of a Youth group of India and their leader, Abdullaah Faarsee is also a remnant of the Ikhwaan Muflisoon and has now returned back to his roots.
Also, if they think that their publicising this email harms us, then it does not harm us in the least. The Jordanian Shaykhs definitely have some retractions to make for what amounts to very inappropriate behaviour in the field of da'wah over the past year or two (not just on Abul-Hasan but many other issues), and we just pray that Allaah makes that easy for them, instead of them choosing the same path as Abul-Hasan al-Misree and putting up a big fight against the scholars, which unfortunately, they did, using the Brixton platform to do that It was immediately after that Brixton conference that the email sent by me, was actually sent.
Finally, there is much more information that we are aware of concerning this issue, due to our connections with the major scholars, alhamdulillaah, and had we intended to "plot" and "attack" these Shaykhs, we would have done that a long time, upon the information that we are aware of from others from the people of knowledge. However, every just person knows that no one has defended the Jordanian Shaykhs against the Qutubis and Hizbees with respect to some recent issues in the way that Maktabah Salafiyyah has, and despite recent events over the last year or so, we have continued to do so, for the benefit of the da`wah. Hence, this recent attempt to harm us by tampering with my email is just another in a list of previous attempts to arrive at the same goal, to stop the clarity in manhaj in the West that comes from us, on account of our link with the Scholars. This is what grieves all of the Hizbiyyeen, in all their different colours.
Recently, one vile individual took the translation of Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad's statement concerning the revilement of Abul-Hasan al-Misree of the Sahaabah, which is here:

And then deceptively claimed that the words of Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin are in direct reference to Shaykh Rabee' bin Haadee`!!! This was emailed to me by someone yesterday from a site that can be considered a sister site to the one run by the individual from Bombay, India, in the sense that both of them are set up in order to fight the Salafee da`wah and the Salafees. So this is the way of these people, may Allaah guide them. They consider lying to be permissible in their da`wah.

Shaykh Rabee' Advises Saleem al-Hilaalee and 'Alee al-Halabee to Take a Firm Salafee Position
The following are some of the words of al-?Allaamah Rabee?us-Sunnah Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee where he advises Saleem al-Hilaalee and ?Alee Hasan al-Halabee to apologize, as the translator (Shakeel as-Singafooree) of their remarks against Shaykh Rabee? apologized, and he advises them to take the Salafee position that Allaah has obligated them to take with regards to the fitnah of Abul-Fitan al-Mubtil al-Mufarriq al-Mubtadi?,
?May Allaah bless you. So when this translation was spread, and some of the Salafee youth began to speak against Saleem al-Hilaalee and ?Alee Hasan ?Abdul-Hameed, I requested the supervisor of Sahab.Net to ban this speech against the two of them. And it reached me that AnaSalafi.Net, and it is Salafee inshaa? Allaah, had begun to speak about the two of them. So I called them and requested them to leave off the speech concerning those two men. And I have waited for the two of them, that they would apologize, just as the translator (Shakeel as-Singafooree) has apologized, for what they said about the difference between me and Abul-Hasan al-Mubtil (the long winded prattler), al-Mufarriq (the divider), causer of fitan, the one who has ripped the Salafiyyeen apart and he has spread fitnah, a fitnah for which we do not know any comparison. He spread this (fitnah) in the various areas of the world. And we said that we shall wait for these two men (Saleem al-Hilaalee, ?Alee Hasan al-Halabee) to take the Salafee position that Allaah has obligated them to take, in order to give victory to His Religion, and to uphold the truth, and to be witnesses for Allaah though it, as Allaah the Blessed and Exalted said,
"O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allaah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin." [Sooratun-Nisaa` 4:135]
And we have remained waiting for them to apologize and to raise high the truth. Since the Scholars of Yemen were patient and remained steadfast for a long time with regards to the trial of Abul-Hasan, until they could not do that any longer, and finally they took one position towards this man (Abul-Fitan al-Mubtil al-Mufarriq al-Mubtadi?) with regards to his going out against Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa?ah. So they warned against him and his fitnah. And the Scholars of al-Madeenah showed kindness towards Abul-Hasan, hoping that he would return back to the correct view, yet he did not increase except in arrogance, disease and spreading of fitan. So they had no choice but to seek the truth and the trial remained open in front of them to explain the issues of misguidance in this man which have not ended. So he has many corrupt principles and many of his actions are evil and from them is that he has ripped the Salafiyyeen apart. And there is no fitnah greater than that. So if they want to unite the word of Salafiyyeen, then let them favour the precedence of their brothers in emaciating this man, al-Mubtil (the long winded prattler), the source of great fitnah. So they must contradict it (the fitnah) with the truth until this fitnah goes away from the chests of the Believers. Since it has been sitting in the chests of the youth and it has been wearing them down and it has been filling their hearts with resentment and controversies and it has been pre-occupying their positions. By Allaah, we have not known a fitnah like this one. It is a fitnah for which thirty five children were enlisted, they were made out to be major Scholars to be thrust against the Major Imaams and to overthrow them and the leaders of tribes argued about it. And Abul-Hasan is moving with hizbiyyah and devastation inside the Kingdom and in Yemen. This is a fitnah for which have never seen a comparison. And we have never seen an evil caller moving the way that he moves. This is the custom of telephone calls, which are made in the eastern and western parts of the world. As it has reached me from the individuals who were called, and they are truthful, and whoever claims that they are liars, then he is a liar. And he is to be known with lying and he is to be known as a chameleon. So the man has been plotting from the beginning.
There were sixteen people when he and I were speaking privately. And I pretended to be ignorant about his deviations and I displayed gentleness to him so that he might return to the correct path. Indeed, this man introduced himself. Rather, introductions were made for him by way of speech which it was not possible to escape from its spreading. So he spread it, but Allaah the Blessed and Exalted has promised to give victory to His Religion, and He has subdued his fitnah. And He shall continue to subdue his fitnah until it is crushed, as He crushed the fitan of other than him. I ask and I supplicate to Allaah the Blessed and the Exalted that He removes his fitnah and that He brings unity into the hearts of the Salafiyyeen in every place. Since, they were upon love, unity, brotherhood, co-operation and mutual advising to the truth in the eastern part of the world and the western part. Then he came with this fitnah which has not served anyone besides the enemies of Islaam and the misguided ahzaab which use this da?wah as a cover. So it has served them and supported them. Why? Since, if he was upon the truth, he would have waged war against them. However, when it became clear to them that he is al-Mubtil (the long winded prattler) and that he is the enemy of their enemies from ad-Da?watus-Salafiyyah, they aided him and helped him. So this aided the Takfeeriyyoon, and the people of misguidance...?
Concerning the Recently Publicised Email (Part 2)

Some have requested the one who originally propagated my email (that was clipped) to come out and to produce the complete email. And then some of those who are unknown, cast further doubt as to whether the email has been actually tampered with or not, doubting in my words and my explanation, and claiming that if I have the original email, why am I quoting by meaning:
Then I say: I indeed have my original email and the affair is as I quoted by meaning, as I was narrating from memory from the last time I read the email.And there are four witnesses to whom my email was sent (and the one who tampered with my email left out the addresses of the others).
However, I request the following:
1) That the one who propagated my email in public (after it had been tampered with), then announce yourself and your full name, and then confirm that you deliberately omitted sentences out of my email, with deliberate intent, in order to create an impression that would allow you to fulfil the original objective of making this email public.
2) Then apologise, recant and make amends for this mischief that you have fallen into.
3) I will hold nothing against you personally, however I wish that this deceptive behaviour is repented from and amendments made for your own benefit.
I request that this is undertaken by the person responsible and if not, then I request this person that if he wishes to remain anonymous and hide himself and the mischief he has fallen into, that he stands earnestly in front of Allaah, and then invokes curses upon himself if he has not quoted my email with honesty and integrity, and then to write that also in public. Thereafter, the affair is between me, him (whoever he is) and Allaah, and this will be the end of the matter.
And giving the benefit of the doubt, if you received the email exactly as it was (i.e. you received it after it had been edited), then announce who you are and your chain of narration and explain who is the person it came from so that the liar can be traced. And if the situation is like this, and you do not quote your source and also give your own name alongside it, then you are to be put alongside whoever was responsible, since you continue to transmit and do not recant from what you now know to be mischievous behaviour and a false transmission of my words, rather you may be in a worse state than him.

Heres another reply I (Aboo Iyaad Amjad Rafeeq) put out to someone who is now spreading my distorted email to others via email:
Assalaamu `alaykum
This is to clarify that the email below quoted from me has been tampered
with. Important parts have been left out that indicate that this is the
advice of the major scholars, like Shaykh Rabee`. During our visit to the
Shaykh recently, and explaining the issues and problems that we faced here,
the Shaykh advised us to remain patient with the harms that we have been
facing, and to continue in this way and to leave the affair with the
scholars, until they speak.

However, those who publicised this email have been dishonest and have
clipped and tampered with my email. May Allaah guide them. I stated that
"this is what Shaykh Rabee` has advised us" or something with that meaning,
and this was left out. And also "It is best to leave this matter alone until
Shaykh Rabee` opens these issues with the Jordanians" or something with that
meaning. I have the original email and know for certain that the email below
has been tampered with so as to give the impression that this issue has come
from us and to make it look as if it is a plot from us. So I ask those who
were involved in this act to fear Allaah. Also if these people were to know
some of the speech that we know, they would not have resorted to this
cowardly act, and would instead have rushed to defend the major scholars,
those of Saudi Arabia, from certain vile insults that have been made that
any Salafee would be shaken by. So it is clear that these individuals are
delving issues that are far beyond them, and in their ignorance of a great
many realities, alongside their dishonesty in the way they have tampered
with my email, are merely attempting to save face given the fact that
Abul-Hasan al-Ma`ribee is now history, and that the position taken by his
defenders has now collapsed into ruins. This is the secret of the matter.
And also because many of these Salafi organisations in the West have been
more and more satisfied with an exclusive da`wah tied only to the
Jordanians, whilst at the same time, undermining our link with the
Jordanians, such as what was plotted by Luton, then the issue of Abul-Hasan
has threatened the very existence of their da`wah. This is because when
Abul-Hasan fell, those who showed hizbiyyah towards him would also be
reduced in the eyes of the people. Now that the Jordanian Shaykhs have a lot
of explaining to do, and it has come to the attention of the general people
that their behaviour has been subject to criticism, and that they need to
make retractions for their mistakes, another wave of public relations is
underway, by those with hizbiyyah towards Abul-Hasan al-Ma`ribee, to
demonise those who are sticking to the major scholars, and who are referring
back to them, and not preceding them in anything, and doing what is best for
the general people, most of whom will not understand these issues and will
find themselves in great confusion.
Hence, this behaviour that you are witnessing from these people is
symptomatic of these realities.

I fear that in my eagerness to defend my brothers I may have inadvertantly opened up a can of worms, not my intention at all.

barakallaahu feekum ya Aba Tasneem for this clarifcation. However, this appalling behaviour by the hizbees should come as no surprise to the salafees! For verily, it is known that the hizbees will come with lies to support their corrupted ideology! Even if you prove them to be liars, they will still cling to the lies they are propogating as if it was the haqq, wallaahu musti'aan!
Now what is Abu Rayaan al-Kadhdhaab going to say, now that it is known that Amjad Rifeeq's email was tampered with? Will his article still remain on that Luton hizbee site? Will that same hizbee site remove the article and pretend that nothing has happened? May Allaah guide these brothers to what is khair, or break their backs for their dispicable attempt to bring confusion amongst the salafees!
