i am looking for the english / arabic wording of a hadeeth that goes like:
There are 3 things that you should do in haste, marry, pray and break your fast.
i searched a few english based hadeeth sites and came up with: كتاب الصوم (The Book of Fasting) No. 1840 Narrated Sahl bin Sad: Allah's Apostle said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast."
i need to know the actual wording and the source of the hadeeth.
this was sent to me by a brother that does not have an account. So i am posting it to benefit others
'Alee Ibn Abee Taalib narrated that the Messenger of Allaah ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said, "Yaa 'Alee, three things you do not delay: The salaah whenever it comes in, the janaazah when it is present, and the (marraige of the) single woman whenever a suitable match is found for her."
Narrated by At-Tirmidhee (hadeeth nos. 156). Al-Iraaqee said its hasan (Takhreej Al-Ihyaa: 2/12). Howeever, Al-Albaanee said its da'eef (Da'eef At-Tirmidhee: Hadeeth nos. 1075)
if anyone has anything different / beneficial to add pls do so
