I just wanted to inform anyone and everyone of a way that you can call the USA and Canada... from anyplace in the world without reciveing any additional charges whatsoever. Likewise have those in the USA call you without them receiving any additional charges (since you have the VOIP modem). Now Im not telling you of something that I have heard of, rather I have been doing it for over a year in the states and now for a few months here in Egypt.
And the Service is excellent for the traveller or the person who has left his or her family overseas, student that wants to call home etc.
I dont want to make this into a sale or anything, rather just let everyone know how to Quit Waisting Money and continue to Stay Connected The service that I have been using is a Voice Over IP (VOIP) modem that directly connects to your high speed internet connection. You must be connected to an internet speed of at least 256k (DSL), in order to have the service. You dont even need to have a computer! The plans start at 14.99 and the best rate is the $24.99 plan that was a few months back $29.99 but they have dropped the price (for the second time). However the plan allows you unlimited calls with all the perks that you would normally get charged for using the other companies like Sprint, Bell South etc. I get everything, caller id, voicemail, call waiting... and more for this price. You can also call international rates cheaper than most calling cards with no connections fees. Also you can transfer over the telephone number you already have. The list goes on. My Mother calls me from the states all the time with no extra charged not for me or her, we call each other and it is like a local call even though where only a few thousand miles an Atlantic Ocean Away and dont forget Africa.
So stop waisting your Money Bro! The company is called Vonage they have been around for a while now. I havent had any major problems as im recommending everyone to learn more about it and sign up. I was paying on average $69 using Sprint as my telephone carrier two years ago and that not receiving and perks and no long distance. Once learning of this service, I got Vonage and Mashallah Its work it. I ALWAYS PAY 24.99 A MONTH ONLY (+tax)
