Bismillaah-ir-Rahmaan-ir-Raheem
Indeed all Praises are for Allaah. May His Salaah and Salaams be upon His Messenger, Family & Companions and those who follow them in goodness.
All Praises are for Allaah who brings about reconciliation in His slaves, and guides them to being united upon the Truth.
The following is a joint statement from the two brothers Aboo 'Abdillaah [Hussain] Zaeem Sivardeen and Aboo Naasir [Aboo al-'Irbaad] 'Abid Bashir Zargar concerning the situation between them:
1. We state that we view each other to be Salafee, following the same scholars, such as the Imaam Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (Hafidhahullaah) and others, following them in their Manhaj. We also state that this has always been our view concerning each other.
2. We state that there exists no Hajr or abandonment between ourselves, and we reject such behaviour between Salafees.
3. We state that we do not warn others against either one of us, nor do we call anyone to make Hajr, or abandon either one of us.
We state this on Saturday 18th Sha'baan 1425 [2/10/04] in the city of Riyaadh, Saudi Arabia.
We praise Allaah for permitting us to state all of this without being compelled by any person, and without the involvement of intermediaries.
We ask Allaah to bless us in this reconciliation, and are final call is that All Praises are for Allaah the Lord of the Worlds.

I Abul Irbaad (formerly Abu Naasir) Abid Bashir Zargar affirm that the above joint statement eminated from myself and the brother Aboo Abdillaah Zaeem Sivardeen, on the date stated therein. We ask Allaah to make this islaah a spear in the hearts of all those who love to see (rather, strive hard to implant) dissension and hatred amongst the Salafiyoon.
