Then to proceed it brings me great pleasure alongside a degree of disquiet and apprenhension to mention an incident which the beloved brother Abu Laith Yahyaa ibn Muhammad as salafee narrated to me by email just yesterday.
We take it as a sure sign that we are beginning to make an impact in the area particularly amongst the youth and so we have decided to share this news with our brothers and sisters in the West.
Yesterday that is the 25th July, one unforunate one from amongst the fanatical and blind followers of the group of misguidance tableeghee jamaat that group that spread its infectious disease even to Gambia, came up to the brother Abu Laith and threatened to kill him, na'am to his face!!!! And such is the condition of ahul bidah in every time and place, united upon the use of the sword. And this should be no surprise to the salafee who knows that Abu Ayyub asakhtiyaanee for example would call all the groups of innovation khawaarrij due to their making blood permissibe when it is not. So in any case we say to the tableeghees and with Allah is the aid die in your fury!! because the haqq has come and the falsehood has vanished indeed the falsheood is ever bound to vanish. Since the reality is that it is not the salafees who fear ahul bidah but rather they fear us which is why they resort to violence because they have no proofs, and no knowledge with which to speak with. By the way it should not be understood that this is what gambians are like but rather we consider this a rare incident emanating hopefully from this mans witnessing the diminishing prestige and respect and control that the tableeghees yield in the area.
So alhamdulillah that is the good news, the bad news however is that the Dagambia is still greatly in need of further consolidating its position in order to call to as salafiyyah.
So Na'am ya ikwaan we are not asking you to travel to Gambia and to protect the brothers there rather Allah is sufficinet as a protector for them and we are not asking you to lie down or risk your lives for the dawah there, but rather we are asking that you make duaa firstly and most importantly but also that you put your hands in your pockets and dig deep and donate whatever small amount because as we like to remind the brothers and sisters in the West a small amount of money from here in the west makes a big difference in the Gambia, £5 is of great value there! And know also that your money will not even be taken away from going to for example the dawah organisations in the west unrestrictedly because we purchase our books and tapes from the likes of spubs, and troid and al althariyyah may allah keep them and us firm upon the haqq. And do not imagine the money has been rolling in either and do not wait for the one next to you to donate because what will make you know that Allah will take your soul before his or hers!
