إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

This Friday morning the 17th of Rabee` ath-Thaanee 1431 (April 2, 2010), our beloved Shaikh, Abu `Azzaam, Yusuf ad-Dakheel passed away.

He had some complications with an injury to his legs which combined with his Diabetes, caused the doctors to amputate one of his legs. After coming to, and seeing his leg amputated, the Shaikh went back into a coma, this morning he passed away.

Allah does not remove knowledge from the chests of men, rather he removes it by taking the `Ulamaa', may Allah have Mercy on the Shaikh and all those who read this.

Asalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmutallaahi wa barakaatuh,

Inna Lillaahi wa Inna 'ilayhi raaji'oon

May Allaah place His Mercy upon the Shaykh, forgive him his sins, grant him Jannatul Firdaws, make his questioning in the grave easy for him, and may his grave be widened for him and make his standing on the Day of Reckoning easy, Allaahummaa Aameen. SubhanaAllaah how the signs of Yawmul Qiyaamah continue to occur yet do we truly take heed?

Akhi would you be able to post a biography of the Shaykh inshaa'Allaah?

BarakaAllaahu feek for informing us about his death. Inshaa'Allaah we should keep the Shaykh in our du'aas. May Allaah grant his family ease in this time of difficulty, Aameen.

Saharla Musa

Ukhtikum fid-deen wa amatullah.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. May Allah have mercy on Shaykh Yusuf and grant him the highest place in Jannah. And may Allaah grant patience to the Shaykh's family, friends and students. Aameen.

The Shaykh had a doctorate in Hadeeth Sciences and he was a lecturer in the Hadeeth College, Islamic University of Madinah. On www.Sahab.net there is more information available.
