Wa 'alaykumussalaam,

Perhaps one of the students of knowledge can assist you with your specific question.

As Muslims however, we are supposed to help one another in all that is good, not helping or supporting each other in evil and transgression. As a Muslim living in the country you live in, you are under an agreement that you will obey the laws and be an upright, trustworthy resident. Furthermore, what kind of example are we setting for the people if the Muslims are known to do business with criminals and illegal smugglers?
