Bismillaah Alhamdulillaah wa sawlaatu wa salaamu 'alaa Rasoolullaah.

As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

Because of a conversation that some of my sisters in Islaam and I had, I am a bit confused about this topic. Please someone correct me if I am wrong or affirm if I am right.

This Eid is one day of celebration and Eid al-Ad-haa is three days of celebration?

And it is permissible to fast the second of Shawwaal?

Please can someone respond to this post and direct me to a source where I can read about this topic.
