Refuting Abul-Hasan al-Misri with his own words

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحمدلله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله و على آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه
:أما بعد

Refuting Abul-Hasan al-Misri with his own words, as quoted by in their excellent refutation of Abu Muflisah al-Hizbee:

Shaykh Abul-Hasan al-Maŭribee says in Ithaafun-Nabeel  (1/195), ŭFor certainly from the strongest aspects of the speech of narrators, is the speech of contemporaries of one another, and the speech of one about his countryman. So we give precedence to the speech of Abee Haatim ar-Raazee (d.277H) and Abee Zurŭah ar-Raazee (d.264H) and Muhammad Ibn Muslim Ibn Waarah ar-Raazee about Muhammad Ibn Humayd ar-Raazee over other than them, because these three scholars, who were Raaziyyoon, from the major scholars of those regions, ruled that he was a liar. So we give precedence to their word over the word of so and so, those of who upgraded his condition, because the native (of a region) is more knowledgeable of his countryman.ŭ

Shaykh Abul-Hasan also says, ŭThe narrator of which the people of his country criticize him, perhaps the praise of those who live outside of his country, only increases him in weakness. That is because it is felt that he intended to confound them, and was made to seem pleasing, and they met him upon sound ahaadeeth thinking this was his condition without exception, so they praised him. And the people of his country knew his true condition and therefore criticized him because of it. Al-ŭAllaamah al-Muŭallimmee has pointed to this in his Tankeel  (p. 763).ŭ

Now, what should we do in the current situation regarding the fitnah of Abul-Hasan? Nothing more than following the aforementioned principle outlined by Abul-Hasan himself, which in fact it is one of the principles of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaaŭah! We should take in account the words of those scholars who are of the same residence as him. Amongs those reliable people of knowledge known for their ŭilm and insight is Shaykh ŭAbdul-ŭAzeez al-Buraŭi, the one whom Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi rahimahullaah called: ŭThe one who criticizes with insight.ŭ

So, in conclusion, the true Salafi should take advantage of the English translation of the book ŭTakaatuf al-Mutasaaqiteenŭ which is a powerful refutation upon Abul-Hasan, in which is exposed the true face of this fitaan
