It is reported by Abu Hurayrah (radiyAllaahu `anhu) and collected by at-Tirmidhee in his Sunan. Shaykh al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) declares it Saheeh. Refer to hadeeth no. 2134 (Vol 2 p.336) of Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhee. It is also in Saheeh Ibn Maajah no. 224, as indicated by the Shaykh in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhee. And the Shaykh indicates after this hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah in Saheeh ul-Jaami` as-Sagheer (no. 6298, Vol 2 p. 1079) that this hadeeth is also mentioned by Ibn Khaythumah in his Kitaab ul-`Ilm, of which Shaykh al-Albaanee has also done a checking.
