A few days ago I was in the Masjid asking a brother about fiqh-us-Sunnah, and its reliability and the brother said " Fiqh-us-Sunnah is now Saheeh Fiqh-us-Sunnah " I asked him how, and his answer was Shaykh Nasirudeen Al Albanee made some corrections in the Kitab ( Meaning pulled away all of the fabricated hadiths ). Is this true, and if so can you please bring me some type of information on this issue. Oh and the bro also said the same thing about Aboo Dawud.
I have in front of me a three volume set called "Fiqh us Sunnah Ta'leef Sayeed Saabiq. It's a new copy containing hadeeth checked by Sheikh Muhammad Nassir ud Deen Al-Albaani. Miladi 2002/ Hijra 1422.
As for the Saheeh Aboo Dawud, the one in the stores in Saudi and Egypt is the complete Saheeh about 11 volumes (if I'm correct)also by Al-Albaani.
