I need the references, with the sub-section and page numbers, for the following hadeeth:
1) " Do not Seek knowledge to argue with the ignorant, boast in front of the layman, point fingers at you for whoever does this let him beware of the hell-fire" (wording is very approximate)
2) Sufyaan at-tauree said:" I have never tried to cure anything that is more difficult to cure than my own niyyah, because it changes all the time" (wording is approximate)
3) Prophet (Sallalaahu 'aleihi wa sallama) said, "Trap knowledge" the Sahaabah asked him "how?" and he replied "By writting it down" (Wording is approximate)
4) "The best of you is the one who learns and teaches the qur'an" (wording is approximate)
5) Abdullah ibn-ul-Mubaarak said "Leave the hadeeth of Amar ibn Thaabit for verily he used to curse the salaf" (This saying is supposed to be in Sahih Muslim but I need the full reference)

The hadeeth that you said was in bukharee (the one about learning and taching qur'an) no. 4639. gives me a hadeeth about al-Kama'a. SO it might be because of different prints. The one i'm using is the 9 volume Sahih al-Bukharee published by dar-us-salaam. Could you re-check and tell me if i was wrong or if there is a more accurate number.
Could you also tell me if there is a search engine that is accurate somewhere on the net.
