Shaikh Alee Ridhaa Admonishes Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee al-Ikhwaanee
Shaikh Alee Ridaa was praised by Imaam al-Albaanee in numerous places in his as-Silsilah as-Saheehah, that he is amongst those who are grounded in Hadeeth, and also Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad praises him. The Shaykh has numerous works and tahqeeqaat amongst them, "al-Mabaahith al-'Ilmiyyah", "Laa Takdhib Alayya Muta'ammidan", "al-Mujallaa Fee Tahqeeq Ahaadeeth al-Muhallaa", "Tahqeeq Ikhbaar Ahl ir-Rushookh", "Tahqeeq ar-Radd 'alal-Qaa'ileena bi Wahdat il-Wujood", "Tahqeeq Tahdheeb al-Athaar lit-Tabaree", "Tahqeeq al-Fataawaa al-Hadeethiyyah of as-Sakhaawee" and others. Imaam Muqbil praised him during the course of one of his refutations upon Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq and he said that he (Shaikh Alee Ridaa) is "From the people of knowledge". (This was taken from what some brothers posted on Sahab.Net)
Shaikh Alee Ridaa posted on Sahab.Net the following:
[I caution you lest you be amongst the ignorant], an advice to al-Ma'ribee
All praise is due to Allaah, and prayers and peace upon the Messenger of Allaah. To proceed:
This is what I worship Allaah with, concerning the affair of Abul-Hasan al-Misree, then al-Ma'ribee. So I say, and from Allaah do I seek aid and success in being correct in both speech and action:
Abul-Hasan began with a strong beginning, and he used to have some striving and excursions (in knowledge) which were not equalled, and especially those cassettes that he did with our Shaikh and our Teacher, the Muhaddith of the Era, al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah), concerning al-Mustalah and in Manhaj and others.
And I used to follow up whatever would come from him of statements that were in opposition to the aqeedah and manhaj, except that I, up until this day of mine, hoped that he would make repentance after the misdeed, and to return to the truth after it had become clear and apparent.
Then Allaah, the Master, the All-Knowing and All-Wise willed that I should investigate his speech in detail, so I read whatever came into my hands with respect to his defence of his own self, and his refutations of those who oppose him, and by Allaah, I became astounded with his false principles (he laid down), and his repeated fabrications upon our Shaikh, the Teacher, Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee, (may Allaah preserve him), and upon our Salafee brothers. In fact, upon everyone who does not agreed with him in his innovated principles, from his defence of Sayyid Qutb (a matter) that has become known by overwhelming transmisision, and [the knowledge of] his misguidance and his ignorance has become a well-circulated matter amongst the Salafees, those who have been matured by the Book and the Sunnah, in both usool and furoo, according to their expression.
But he did not suffice himself with this and only made things worse - as it is said - by his speech of "the vast manhaj for Ahl us-Sunnah", under which all of the groups of misguidance revolve around, those which are currently present in the plains (of da'wah)!!
And then the crowning touch - as it is said - was that Abul-Hasan gathered all the statements, the fabrications, and the deceptions of the Haddaadiyyah, the Qutubiyyah and Surooriyyah, and then he hurled them altogether (deceptively) upon Shaikh Rabee' (hafidhahullaah), so by way of this (action) he rendered the greatest service to al-Haddaad and ash-Shayijee and Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq and their tail-ends (i.e. followers). And there is no power nor strength except by Allaah.
And I, from this platform (minbar) invite Abul-Hasan to return to the Manhaj of the Salaf and to their Aqeedah, and that he should not be led by arrogance to more crime, for returning to the truth is better than wallowing in falsehood, and (I invite him) to supplicate with what has been authentically related to the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam), "O Allaah, the Lord of Jibreel, Mikaa'eel and Israafeel, the Originator of the Heavens and the Earth, the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, You are the One who judged between His servants in that which they used to differ, guide me, by Your permission to that in which difference has occurred regarding the truth, verily You guide whom You will to a straigh path".
Then it is upon him to seek the advice and seek the verdict of one of the remaining (scholars) of our Salaf, amongst them our Shaikh, Saalih al-Fawzaan, for he is strong in aqeedah and manhaj, so let him put the issues that Abul-Hasan thinks that he is correct in to him, and so if after this, his being far away from the (right) path becomes clear, then let him return to guidance, and Allaah says the truth and He guides to the path.

Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad on Shaikh Alee Ridhaa
Introduction of Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad for the book of Shaikh Alee Ridhaa refuting Hasan al-Maalikee
All praise is due to Allaah, and prayers upon the one after whom there is no prophet, and upon his family and companions, to proceed:
Our brother, the noble Shaikh, Alee Ridhaa bin Abdullaah bin Ridhaa has read samples to me from what he has written of the stumblings and confusion of Hasan al-Maalikee and his wife in what they have written concerning the pledge of allegiance of Alee radiallaahu anhu.
And he has unveiled their ignorance and their evil understandings, because they both entered into something to which they are foreigners, so may Allaah reward him with good and give him ample reward...
...And Shaikh Alee is one [known] with due diligence to and concern for the Sunnah and returning to the speech of the people of knowledge, and benefiting from them, especially, Shaikh al-Albaanee (rahmatullaah alaihi). And he also has great efforts in the newspapers in refuting some of the people of innovation and the erroneous views, and he has also made numerous excursions in refuting al-Maalikee in the papers numerous years previously.
And al-Maalikee mentioned in one of his evil books that he was put to trial by a people, the most envious (jealous) of them being Alee Ridhaa, and I do not know for what thing this al-Maalikee should be envied for? Should he be envied for ignorance of the Sunnah and attacking the Sahaabah and those who travel upon their methodology from Ahl us-Sunnah or what?
And may Allaah send prayer, and peace and blessings upon His servant, and His messenger, our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and his companions.
Abdul-Muhsin bin Hamad al-Abbaad al-Badr
