Shaikh Muhammad Bin 'Abdul-Wahhaab Al Aqeel on Muhammad Hasan

quote:
Question posed and translated by Abu 'Abdis Salaam Siddiq Al Juyaanee

Questioner: As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu oh Shaikh. This is Abu 'Abdis Salaam Al Juyaanee and I'm calling you from America. Oh Shaikh I have a question, if I may please ask it.

Shaikh Muhammad Aqeel:
quote:
Proceed.

Questioner:  We have a man here in the area whose name is Muhammad Hasan and he is Jordanian.  This man calls the people to Tawheed Al Haakimiyyah, he speaks ill of Shaikh Muhammad Bin 'Abdul-Wahhaab, and this man says the statement, "All of my scholars are dead" and other things like this.

Due to this, we have prohibited him from speaking in the Masjid, delivering the Jumu'ah khutbah, the khutbah on the day of the 'Eid or any other day, and we don't want to hear anything from him.  Have we complied with the Sunnah in this, and can we say to the people, "This man is not Salafy?"

Shaikh Muhammad Aqeel:
quote:
Yes, I say that the ruling of a thing emanates from its apparent reality.  So if you all have become aware of the situation of this man and that he calls to Bid'ah, and that he does not connect himself to any of the Scholars of the Sunnah - those living as well as those who have passed away - and it has become apparent from his speech [the] disdain for the Sunnah and its people, all the while, having influence on the people, then it is not (permissible) for you to enable this man.  This is from the issue of disapproving and preventing the evil. The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said,

"Whoever amongst you sees an evil then let him change it with his hand..."

So as long as you have the power to prevent him from speaking in the Masjids, then this is that which is obligatory upon you.  May Allah reward you all for defending Islaam and its people, the Sunnah and its people.

Questioner:  May Allah reward you, oh Shaikh.  The problem is, oh Shaikh, this man claims to love Al-Albaanee.

The Shaikh Muhammad Aqeel interrupted and said:
quote:
So what if he claims, so what if he claims. Al Albaanee...loving him is not by talk.  Just like loving the righteous and the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) is not by talk; verily loving them is only expressed by following them. Shaikh Al-Albaanee was one of the greatest callers to the Sunnah and was one of the greatest callers to Tawheed, and he did not call to Tawheed Al Haakimiyyah but rather he called to three categories of Tawheed; so his saying that he loves Al-Albaanee does not point to the fact that he is upon the Sunnah! He is lying in his claim of loving Al-Albaanee; he is lying!

Questioner:  Na'am, may Allah help us, may Allah reward you oh Shaikh.

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.

Who exactly is this Muhammad Hasan? Is he an Imaam of a Masjid in US? Which state is he in? Jazaakumullahu khayra.

At the bottom of the following page, you may listen to Shaikh Al-Albanee clarifying that the three well-known categories of Tawheed - ar-Ruboobiyyah, al-Uloohiyyah and al-Asmaa` was-Sifaat - were not invented by Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, as the people of innovation who refuse to accept Tawheed claim. Rather, these three categories were derived from the texts of the Qur`aan and the authentic Sunnah.
