USAMAH HASAN | THE OPEN CALLER TO MISGUIDANCE Who is he? - The son of Suhaib Hasan (a senior figure-head of Jamiat Ahlel-Hadith UK,**). - Usamah Hasan is a khateeb, and an Imaam of the "Jamiat Ahlel-Hadith" Mosque, Masjid at-Tawhid, headed by Suhaib Hasan in Leyton, East London. - A signatory to the Yasir Qadhi & Hamza Yusuf pledge between Sunnah and Sufism. - A self confessed "Salafi-Sufi"!! - A caller to the Quilliam organisation that calls for the abolition of vast chunks of Islamic Shariah law, as well as combating 'Wahabism' - A caller to Sunni-Shi'ah links. - A caller to secularism. Click here and read his distasterous and misguided comments and the double standards of those who defend the Jamiat blindly: >>USAMAH ON SCHOLARS, MUSIC & THE VEIL<< Who will now come to the defence of the calamities of the Jami'yyah Ahle-Hadith UK and its speakers?! ** Suhaib Hasan himself participates in events with the Soofees such as the Prophet's birthday celebrations. His praise for Hamza Yusuf can be seen in the latter's deviated explanation of the Creed of Imaam at-Tahaawee, with words of shameless flattery. It is unfortunate that untruthful individuals with ulterior motives and hidden agendas (some from the UK and others from Madeenah) have deceived Shaikh Wasi'ullaah into defending this organisation that has within its ranks those who praise innovators and work alongside them and even display subservience to them - again such as Suhaib Hasan who works under the presidency of Yusuf al-Qardawi in the European fatwa council. On the same council appears Abdullah Juday and Rashid Ghanouchi; two other callers to misguidance. Another example is 'Lord' Nazir Ahmad who claims that the niqaab (face veil) is NOT from Islaam, yet some deceivers informed Shaikh Wasi'ullah that he was a person of Sunnah and Salafiyyah!! So Shaikh Wasi'ullah issued some complimentary comments regarding him, stating that he is a 'good person of Ahlul-hadith.'! They also convinced Shaikh Wasi'Ullah that Abu Usaamah adh-Dhahabi was a person of Sunnah and Salafiyyah and so the shaikh praised him very highly (wallaahul-musta'aan). This is the same Abu Usamah who defends the innovator Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribi and spoke ill of Shaikh Rabee' bin Haadee. Till this day he translates for the misguided Muhammad al-Maghraawee, whose deviation and takfeeri ideology is well-documented, as well as Usaamah Qoosee. And let us not forget that Abu Usaamah is the one who made ignorant attacks upon the Muslim rulers, and in specific, Saudi Arabia, claiming that they have thrown the Book and Sunnah behind their backs! This Abu Usaamah who was exposed for his utter lack of wisdom, foolishness and not to mention the falsehood that was spread across the world in the TV documentary 'Undercover Mosques', wherein, in his typical mockery and clowning around with serious issues, exposed his own two-faced and ignorant approach in the da'wah. These are the reasons that cause non-Muslims who may have some justice to flee from Islam and the result is increase in Islamaphobia. The same Abu Usamah adh-Dhahabi who is famously known in the West for his deceitful and inappropriate advances towards unsuspecting women which would cause anger to the soul of any upright and honourable father or guardian. And this affair is well-known and not hidden in the USA and the UK. So-much-so that the heads of the Jam'iyyah Ahlel-Hadith Green Lane mosque are aware of his antics, but sit back as if tacitly approving his evil. However, Shaikh Wasi'Ullaah is told how great Abu Usaamah is, so as to extract more recommendations for this individual. So how is it that his calamities are ignored and is allowed to translate for Shaikh Wasi'ullaah?! They convinced Shaikh Wasi'Ullah that this pseudo-political organisation upholds the banner of da'wah in the West, and that speaking out against them will harm or even bring down the da'wah in the English language! Yet historically this group has had very little to do with the spread of da'watus-Salafiyyah in the West. Indeed they have harmed the da'wah with much of their political machinations and two-faced methods. This organisation and its figure-heads have been inviting, sharing platforms and co-operating with the likes of Yasir Qadhi, Tawfique Choudhury, Zakir Naik, Bilal Philips, Usamah Hasan, Abu Aliyah Surkheel, Lord Nazir, Salma Yaqoob, Hamza Yusuf and countless other deviants, and in this there is no doubt. So whilst the blind youthful defenders of this group seek to look for specks in the eyes of Salafi Publications, they ignore the planks of wood floating in the eyes of their Jam'iyyah!! We hope that Shaikh Wasi'Ullah will see through the lies and fabrications of the blind followers of this group. And those who have an atom's weight of justice from the youthful defenders of this Jam'iyyah should hasten to repent, rectify and inform Shaikh Wasi'ullah of all of this so that the Shaikh understands the reality of this organisation. __________________________________________________________

The following are extracts from this open caller to misguidance during a speech delivered at the Quilliam foundation. Usama Hasan says:
| quote: |
...and so I suppose my journey has been a bit more gradual, perhaps, compared to Ed and Majid. I also was brought up in a very strict, what would be called a Wahaabi and Salafee household and I still retain aspects of that. Infact I now describe myself as a Wahaabi Sufi and I actually do think the two can be bridged and I believe in that, in Wahaabi Sufi unity and in fact in Sunni Shia unity.
Usama then goes on to talk about his Christian assemblies:
| quote: |
But another thing about just growing up in Britain of course, very important to me and my brother and sisters was the fact that we went to Christian assembly every day at school, at primary and secondary school and we sang Christian hymns. We used to go quiet when it came to mention of 'Lord Jesus' but apart from that you know most of the Christian hymns were great and I still remember them. And for me it's actually a matter of great sadness that thirty years later my own children don't actually get exposed to any sense of God in the classroom because the authorities are too scared of offending different religious groups and they end up with very little, which I thinks is a shame.
Usama Hasan also talks about his stance on secularism:
| quote: |
There are strengths to secularism, quite clearly Europe came to a secular position after centuries of religious wars which it was fed up with and many muslims don't understand that and they see secularism as a threat if you like to Islaam and certainly this is something Islaamists fail to understand.
He also talks about Ibn Khaldun:
| quote: |
But what's interesting is Ibn Khaldun is almost never mentioned in Islaamist circles and I certainly had experience of that, the ten, twenty years we used to be constrained within Islaamist and literalist discourse if you like, we never heard the name of Ibn Khaldun although he is one of the truly great intellectual giants of the Islaamic world of whom we're very proud. And one argument of his which I've tried to develop over the last few years is what might be called an Islaamic secularism.
Then he mentions Ibn Kahldun's quoting of a hadeeth of the Prophet (Sall Allaahu alayhi wa Sallam) where in he (Sall Allaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said:
| quote: |
You are more knowledgeable about your worldly matters
Usama goes onto say:
| quote: |
And the commentary of that teaching is that the Prophets of God don't come here to teach us medicine and agriculture and the crafts e.t.c. They come to give us spiritual values, our highest values rooted in God and taking us towards God, because all of life is a journey towards God. But the matter of the world, government, administration, how we organise our schools and railways and the national health service and everything else, these are secular matters, worldly matters, you know the word secular of course just refers to the world. And in that sense if you look at the caliphate and the sultanate, Islaamic history for the last 1400 years perhaps most of that has been very secular in many ways and it's been very liberal and tolerant, you've had all kinds of space and accommodation for different religions.

NOTE: Usama's use of the term 'Wahabbi' goes against what he said in his article: 'Recapturing Islaam from The Pacifists'( 28th Sha'ban 1422 / 14th November, 2001): "The fact remains that no Muslim calls themselves "Wahhabi", a label employed as a term of abuse by many ignorant Sufis; and using it in this way is disrespectful to the Generosity of Al-Wahhab Himself, the Bestower of Endless Gifts." In this same article he praises two of the leading Soofee deviants of our times, Abdul Hakeem Murad and Hamza Yusuf, he writes: "Murad is surely right in saying that the keys to success are spirituality, toleration and wisdom" And: "The approach of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, who said in one lecture, "If the Wahhabis think you're a Sufi, and the Sufis think you're a Wahhabi, then you're somewhere along the right lines," must be welcomed." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ So who now can dare call themselves 'Ahle Hadeeth' and still defend this man. May Allaah keep us firm upon this noble manhaj. Ameen.

Of course some will now claim he's not 'really' one of them as they did with Yasir Qadhi. But he's a khateeb and imaam in the Jamiyyah Ahlul Hadeeth Mosque in East London, he has 'ijaazah' from his father and quotes his father's organisations: the Sharee'ah council and European Council. They'll say he's only one bad apple. But what is required is a tawbah from this organisation as clear as the sun is in the sky, then to make ammends, and then to clarify themselves and rid themselves of these individuals within their ranks if they do not openly declare their tawbah for for their open call to crooked ideologies. And that is whole list of leaders and speakers and khateebs. And they should apologise and make ammends for their attacks upon the Salafi brothers (such as Salafi Publications) and distance themselves from the evil, dispicable websites (amwat.org etc) and hizbi organisations that destroy the unity of the ranks of Ahlus Sunnah. Likewise those online political fatwa websites that send out email news reports on Hamas, Israel, Palestine, Dafur, Afghanistan and Iraq and news on floods and droughts in the name of 'fatawa' should also repent and make tawbah for their corrupt cultivation of Muslim youth and defence of this Jam'iyyah and its leaders and their attacks upon well-known Salafi organisations. May Allaah guide them and protect the Salafis from their evil.

Attached screenshot is from the official website of Masjid & Madrasah al-Tawhid in Leyton, London which gives a link to Dr. Usama Hasan in the "About us" section. This page is under construction as can be seen in the screenshot. Please click here for another Link to a serious error of Dr. Usama Hasan - may Allah guide him & us. The name "Sheikh Haitham al-Haddah" can be seen on the website too. Most probably it's Haitham al-Haddad the co-signatory to Yasir Qadhi's Pledge to Unite Upon Falsehood along with Dr. Usama Hasan, Tawfique Chowdhury, Abu Aaliyah Surkheel Sharif, Abdur Raheem Green and others.
