Q: Is the statement true that the Hanbalis are the only Salafis? And what is Salafiya?
A: This statement is not correct. The Salafi Saalih are the Companions, may ALLAH be pleased with them, and those whom follow there path, from the Taabieen, and the followers of the Taabieen, from the Hanafis, Malakis, Shafiees, and Hanbalis, and other than them from those who follow the truth; and hold onto the Mighty Book(Qur'an) and the Purified Sunna. In the areas of Tawheed and Names and Attributes, and all of the affairs of the deen. We ask ALLAH to make us from them! And to give success to all the Muslims, the rulers and the common folk in every place, (success to) hold onto the Mighty Book and the Sunna of HIS trusted Messenger. That we rule by it and are ruled by it. And warn from everything that opposes the Book and the Sunna. Verily ALLAH is the Wali and the ONE who is able to do this. And ALLAH is the ONE who give success.
