Bismillah
Al-Bayaan
Truly, all praise is for Allah. We praise him, we seek his assistance, and we beg for his forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of our souls and that of our misdeeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can lead him astray, and whoever He causes to go astray, there is no guide for him. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, alone, with no partners. And I bear witness that Muhammad is his servant and messenger, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
Ayah Islamic Center was established for the purpose of providing a place for the Muslims in Laurel and outside of Laurel who wished to follow the Quran and Sunnah of Rasulullah, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. Along this path there were mistakes made due to our ignorance, the clarification of which is the purpose of this bayaan.
Firstly, we would like to make it known that Saed Rageah, who was the Imam of Ayah Islamic Center since its inception, resigned in the fall of 2002 by his own decision. We ask Allah to reward him for any good he did while with us, forgive him for his mistakes, and guide him to what is correct. As it stands, from this time, Saed Rageah is no longer involved in any way with the administration of Ayah Islamic Center.
From the mistakes that were made by Ayah Islamic Center was the inviting of a group of speakers who have been warned against because of certain positions they have taken. From them are:
Abu Muslimah Abdullah Tawfiq
Jamal-ud-deen Zarabozo
Muhammad Sayed Adly
Waleed al Basyooni
Zakiyudeen Sharfi
Rafil Dhafir
Ghassan Barqaawi
Our mawqif toward these individuals is as Imam Al Awzaa?ee said regarding the people of Sham, when an innovation was spread there, ?And I am not in despair that Allah will remove the evil of this innovation so that they become brothers again after the affection to separation in their religion and hatred?. So we are not in despair that Allah will remove this fitnah so that we can all be brothers for the sake of Allah. However, until that time, we announce our disassociation and freedom from the above mentioned individuals.
Conversely, we would like to announce our association and partnership with the people who call and adhere to the way of the Salafus Saaliheen, from the ?Ulama and talabatul ?ilm and callers, from the likes of As-Shaykh Bin Baz rahimahullah, Shaykh Muhammad Nasirudeen Al-Albaani rahimahullah, Shaykh Muhammad Salih Al-Uthaimeen rahimahullah, Shaykh Rabi? bin Haadi Al Madkhalee, As Shaykh Muhammad al Banna, As Shaykh Abdul Muhsin Al ?Abbaad, As Shaykh Abdullah Al Bukhaaree, As Shaykh Fawzee al Atharee, As Shaykh ?Ubayd al Jaabiree, As Shaykh Faalih al Harbee, As Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzaan, As Shaykh Abdul Azeez Aal as Shaykh, and those like them from the ?Ulama hafathahumullah.!
Finally, we would like to leave no doubt that the Da?watus Salafiyyah, i.e. the call to follow Islam upon the Sunnah of the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, and the understanding of the Sahabah, their students the Taabi?oon, and their students the Taabi? Taabi?een, is the da?wah of Ayah Islamic Center. We call to it openly. It is our desire to focus upon educating ourselves along this path. We invite any cooperation in this regard.
May Allah guide us all to what is correct and protect us from pride and forgive us our sins. Ameen
