Lectures from the Recent Conference in Refutation
of the Philadelphian Ash'arees
Inshaa` Allaah, here we intend to provide the lectures from the recent conference in Philadelphia for free download - per the request of the speakers: Abul-Hasan Maalik, Hasan as-Somali, Aboo Ri'aayah 'Abdur-Razzaaq and Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan - jazaahumullaahu khayran.
Uncovering Ash'aree Aspersions Against Salafiyyah and the Salafees - Our brother Hasan as-Somali presents a point by point refutation upon the erroneous claims from one the Philadelphian Jahmites, who alleges that Muhammad 'Abduh was the founder and originator of what is known today as the Salafee Da'wah. Our brother plays the speech of the Ash'aree himself and refutes it in a way that leaves the false claimant with no choice but to retract his statement. [url=http://www.sunnahaudio.com]SunnahAudio.com[/url] has inserted the audio statements of the Ash'arees as brother Hasan addresses them, included the nonsensical statement of Yusuf Estes concerning the ascription to the Salaf.
Brother Hasan establishes proof against the statement of the Ash'aree ignoramus - that no one used the term Salaf or Salafee before Muhammad 'Abduh (d.1905CE) - so he brings the statements of the famed linguist, Ibnul-Mandhoor, Imaam al-Awzaa'ee (d.157H), Ibnul-Atheer (d.606H), Abul-Mudhaffar as-Sam'aanee (d.489H) and adh-Dhahabee (d.748H) and as-Safaareenee (d.406H).
Included within this lecture are the audio clips from the deviants themselves, so that they will have no excuse with which to dodge the issues. Additionally, our brother Hasan deals with the ignorant statement of Yusuf Estes regarding Salafiyyah - that if one says he is a Salafee, then he is saying that he is a dead righteous guy!?!

Exposing the Ash'aree Fraud against adh-Dhahabee and Ibn Taymiyyah
- Abul-Hasan Maalik begins by warning the listeners about the signs of the people of innovation, from them: that Haaroon ar-Rasheed clarified that just as the heretics of the past, like Shaakir, attacked the Companions because they were carriers of the narrations, the Ash'arees and Jahmees of today attack the likes of Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) and al-Albaanee (d.1420H) because they were custodians of the Sunnah. From the signs of the innovators is their using the insulting term, Hashawiyyah, to refer to Ahlus-Sunnah. And from their signs is lying, fabricating ahaadeeth and relying upon weak and fabricated ahaadeeth for their Religion.
- He goes onto to free Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah from the claims of Philadelphian Jahmite that Ibn Taymiyyah goes against the methodology of Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (d.241H) because he used additional wordings to clarify the 'aqeedah of the Salaf, specifically the phrase, 'baa`in min khalqihi' (separate and distinct from his creation).
- He exposes the devilish lies of the Philadelphian of Jahmite in quoting the from the book, Zaghalul-'Ilm, which some of the Scholars have explained is erroneaously attributed of al-Haafidh adh-Dhahabee as a criticism of Ibn Taymiyyah. Abul-Hasan demonstrates of al-'Allaamah Hammaad al-Ansaaree (d.1418H) - an expert in Islaamic manuscripts - clarified that this book is self-contradictory and not from the works authentically attributed to adh-Dhahabee.
- He clarifies that a further example of such tampering is what some have done to the book of adh-Dhahabee, al-Kabaa`ir (the Major Sins). As some of the Scholars have mentioned that there are several unauthentic narrations therein, which others inserted into the original work of adh-Dhahabee. Similarly, some of the Scholars have mentioned that people have inserted erroneous claims against Ibn Taymiyyah into this work, Zaghalul-'Ilm - if it is confirmed upon adh-Dhahabee at all - as they did with al-Kabaa`ir - to the extent that one will now read galring contradiction within the same book! Then, Abul-Hasan goes onto read from the well-known works of adh-Dhahabee, in which he praises Ibn Taymiyyah.
Lastly, Abul-Hasan reads from the speech of Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah concerning the Attributes of Allaah and he follows up with the speech of Imaam adh-Dhahabee, showing that he was upon the same creed as his teacher. So how can it be said that adh-Dhahabee criticized the creed of Ibn Taymiyyah, as the Ash'aree Jahmees would have us believe!? He concludes with the remarks of Shaykh Muhammad Amaan al-Jaamee (d.1417H) about his teacher Shaykh Muhammad Khaleel Harraas - who used to be an Ash'aree Soofee, until he repented from that and embraced Salafiyyah by reading the writings of Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah.
