Cure for those who followed the so-called "Cure for Swine Flu"

1) 1 sincere act of repentance to Allaah alone for following shayaateen down paths of innovation, after your Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) had warned you from them.

2) 1 abandonment of the people of innovation in general, more specifically deobandi soofees, especially "Hazrat Movlana Yusuf Motala Sahab".

3) Gain 131 friends (or more or less) from Ahlus-Sunnah to mutually love and help each other stick to the teachings of the Book and the Sunnah according to the way of the righteous Muslims of the past.

4) Listen to 78 lectures (or more or less) from the scholars of Islaam in basic matters of Islaam, especially towheed.

5) 1 sincere request made to Allaah alone, the Lord of the entire creation, to cure you of swine flu, calling upon Him by His beautiful Names, like ar-Rahmaan, ar-Raheem, ash-Shaafee (the Healer), and so on.  This may be coupled with the drinking of Zamzam water (as with any supplication), and the recitation of any parts of the Qur'aan that are easy to recite (as with any ruqyah).  This is in conformity with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam).

Jazak Allahu Khair this is a very beneficial thread.

I saw the article on receiving money for ruqayyah, I had previously disliked to see people take money for ruqayyah but according to teh article there is a hadeeth that states it is permissable:

Is anyone able to paste teh hadeeth here? As I couldnt find it

anything good was from allah. All errors were from myself and satan

jazakum allahu khair

assalamu alaykum wa rahmah tullahi wa barakatuhu

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuh

The below narration are from the translated version (Muhsin Khan) of al-Jaami al-Sahih of Imaam Bukhari (Rahimahu-Allaahu):

Volume 7, Book 71, Number 632:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

Some of the companions of the Prophet came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs, and that tribe did not entertain them. While they were in that state, the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion). They said, (to the companions of the Prophet ), "Have you got any medicine with you or anybody who can treat with Ruqya?" The Prophet's companions said, "You refuse to entertain us, so we will not treat (your chief) unless you pay us for it." So they agreed to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them (the Prophet's companions) started reciting Surat-al-Fatiha and gathering his saliva and spitting it (at the snake-bite). The patient got cured and his people presented the sheep to them, but they said, "We will not take it unless we ask the Prophet (whether it is lawful)." When they asked him, he smiled and said, "How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? Take it (flock of sheep) and assign a share for me."

Volume 7, Book 71, Number 633:

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

Some of the companions of the Prophet passed by some people staying at a place where there was water, and one of those people had been stung by a scorpion. A man from those staying near the water, came and said to the companions of the Prophet, "Is there anyone among you who can do Ruqya as near the water there is a person who has been stung by a scorpion." So one of the Prophet's companions went to him and recited Surat-al-Fatiha for a sheep as his fees. The patient got cured and the man brought the sheep to his companions who disliked that and said, "You have taken wages for reciting Allah's Book." When they arrived at Medina, they said, ' O Allah's Apostle! (This person) has taken wages for reciting Allah's Book" On that Allah's Apostle said, "You are most entitled to take wages for doing a Ruqya with Allah's Book."
