Bismillah,

Ways to Gain Knowledge that Laa ilaaha illa Allah by the Great Scholar 'Abdur Rahman bin Naasir As-Sa'di

Allah the Most High says in His Exalted and Dignified Book: So know! that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah......47:19

The Great Scholar 'Abdur Rahman bin Naasir As-Sa'di -may Allah have mercy upon him- mentions in his tafsir Taysir Al-Kareem Ar-Rahman fee Tafsir Kalaam Al-Mannaan (vol.2 Daar ul 'Aqeedah pg.1266-1267) about this verse:

.....And the ways to gain knowledge that Laa ilaaha illa Allah (none has the right to be worshipped except Allah) are numerous:

The first of them, in fact the most superior of them is; Reflecting upon the names of Allah, His attributes and His actions subhaanahu wa ta'ala which clearly indicate His perfectness, magnificence and His sublimity. For indeed by doing that it causes one to strive their utmost in singling Him out as the True Deity and devoting one's self in worship to the Perfect Lord (Allah) the one who possesses all praise, grandeur, exhortation and beauty.

Secondly:  Knowing that He is alone in the creation (of the Heavens, Earth and everything else) and the Disposer of affairs (by Himself), so by this you understand that He is futhermore alone in His divinity.

Thirdly: Understanding that He is alone in the bestowal of blessings and favors those which are apparent and hidden and likewise the religious and worldly blessings. Therefore that compels the heart to be attached to Allah and to love Him (for that) and to single Him out alone without any partners.

Forthly: That which we witness and hear about from the rewards of His close friends who are implementing and actualizing His oneness from the likes of aid and worldly benefits. And on the contrary that which we see and hear from His punishment upon His enemies those who associate partners with Him. Hence this is a clear reason that will bring about awareness that He is alone Worthy of all worship.

Fifthly: Comprehending the descriptions of those idols and false deities that are worshipped besides Allah ta'ala and are taken as gods while they (false deities) themselves are inferior and in total need from every perspective (while Allah the All-Rich, Self-Sufficient is not in need of anything). They do not possess for themselves nor for their worshippers benefit, harm, death, life nor resurrection. They can neither help nor avail those who worship them the weight of an mustard seed in bringing forth good or repelling harm. Certainly by doing that it will necessitate enlightment that Laa ilaaha illah Allah and the futility of worship to other than Him.

Sixthly: The agreement and conformity of all the books of Allah upon that i.e. Laa ilaaha illa Allah.

Seventhly: The people of high-regard and notability from amongst the creation those who have the most complete characteristics, intellects, opinions, sound judgement and knowledge and they are; the Messengers, Prophets, Scholars and Rabbaaniyoon (Learned Men of the religion who apply what they know and teach it to others gradually) have testified to Allah upon this, that none has the right to be worshipped except Him.

Eighthly: All that which Allah has placed (in the Earth) from the Universal Signs and also the Individual Signs (that are found in a person) that show the Oneness of Allah. It is the mightiest indication that proclaims (At-Tawheed) from that which He has layed down in it (the Universe) from His brilliant work, marvelous wisdom and His baffling creation.

So these are some of the methods or ways that Allah uses often to show the creation the reality that none has the right to be worshipped except Him and He manifests them throughout His book and reinstates them when the slave contemplates over them. Thus it is a must that the slave recieves certainty and firm recognition about Laa ilaaha illa Allah. So how much more if all of the signs of At-Tawheed were combined with eachother and manifested from all angles;  that would without doubt deeply implant Eemaan in the heart of the slave so much that it will be like solid mountains not being shaken by doubts and ambiguities. And the Eemaan of this individual will not increase by exposure to falsehood except in growth and completeness.

And if you were to look at the Mightiest Evidence and the Grand Affair which is studying and pondering over this Noble Quran and the verses that are in it; for indeed it is the greatest way to learn about the Oneness of Allah. And the slave attains by it (the Quraan) detailed and summarized information i.e. about Laa ilaaha illa Allah that he doesn't attain in other than it.
