I was wondering, does anyone know the Islamic ruling on baby showers? I have been asked to attend one for my sister who is inshallah having a baby soon. I know that there will be only ladies, no music, and no games, etc. And it will be held in a private home, where I have my time to pray. There will be very few people there. Can anyone provide me with any information about this? Jazakallah.
