As-salaam 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah.

Once again, Allaah sub haana wa ta 'aala has ridiculed the Khawaarij and foiled their plots, al-hamdu Lillaah.

From what I heard, the terrorist approached the Prince, after being allowed into his home disguising himself as someone who was handing himself in as a wanted terrorist. He had an explosive implanted into his body, but he tripped up on the carpet and blew himself up, him being the only victim of his evil plot. May Allaah give him what he deserves.

The Prince, may Allaah protect him, is a man of honour and love for the Muslims. He has helped a number of students in the Islaamic University of Madinah to secure visas for their wives and children, with myself personally having the pleasure to have met him and have visas ordered by him for my family in 2005.

May Allaah protect him and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Prince Escapes Suicide Bomb Attack
11:20am UK, Friday August 28, 2009

A Saudi prince responsible for the kingdom's anti-terror fight has narrowly escaped an al Qaeda suicide bomb attack.

Deputy interior minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef suffered minor injuries after the bomber blew himself up in the western city of Jeddah.

The Saudi wing of al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the failed attack in a statement posted on an Islamist website on Thursday evening.

Prince Mohammed was targeted while he was receiving guests at the end of the day's fasting during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The royal court said the bomber approached the prince under the pretext that he was a wanted terrorist who wanted to hand himself in.

The bomber was the only casualty in the blast.

Saudi television showed images of the prince after the attack.

Official news agency SPA said the anti-terror chief did not seem affected by the ordeal.
