Hoping for an answer to this one as it is something that I have ignored each Ramadhan. I know the dua for breaking the fast to be dhahaba athama' w'abtalata al'urooq w thabat'al'ajr insha'Allah.
However on the majority of mosque timetables the following is written
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'ala rizq-ika aftarthu.
Some research revealed that this is recorded in abu daawood.
In some masaajid around here they even say the dua at maghrib instead of the adhan!
So which is authentic and what is the correct way to break ones fast?

Mu'aadh bin Zahrah said that the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), when he used to do iftaar, said Allaahumma laka sumtu wa 'alaa rizqika aftartu.
Shaykh Al-Albaanee said: Weak.

Could you please write the translation of the dua? also what dua would you say in the morning when you close your dua,

Invocations for Breaking the fast
Allaahumma inee as`aluka birahmatikal-latee wasi'at kulla shay`in an taghfira lee
Meaning: O Allaah, I ask you by Your mercy, which encompasses all things, that you forgive me.
Ibn Majah 1/557 from a supplication of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (radiallaahu 'anhu). Al-Hafidh graded it as good in his checking of An-Nawawi's Kitaabul-Adhkar.

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

Regarding the original question as to which dua is authentic then here is the answer inshaa'Allaah.
3. Question : What is the condition of the hadeeth
ذَهَبَ الظَّمأُ ، وابْتَلَّتِ العُرُوقُ ، وثَبَتَ الأجرُ إِن شاءَ اللهُ
The thirst is gone and the veins are moist. If Allah wills the reward is certain.
And are there any legislated supplications made at the time of breakfast?
Answer: This hadeeth is unauthentic. The person fasting supplication is answered, whether he makes dua at breakfast or before. Allah says,
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ
And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islýmic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islýmic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!" [ Ghafir 60 ]
The more a person is in need of assistance and draws near to Allah the closer he is to having is supplication answered. The hadeeth you mentioned is weak because of Marwan ibn Salim Al-Muqfaýā. He is unknown.

MashaAllaah it explains to us the hadeeth of the Prophet where 3 types of people their dua will be accepted and one of them is a fasting person. The link above tells us that the hadeeth refers to the fasting person whilst they are fasting and not at the time of breaking the fast,
