Bismilah ar Rahman ar Raheem Alamdulliah Rabil Alameen
Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatu
I know a brother how has recently entered the deen he is very keen and is starting starting to read the quran for the second time in two months mashallah.
The issue is the copy that he has is The Qur'an (Oxford World's Classics) translated by Muhammad A. S. Abdel Haleem. Does any one know anything about this translation and the translator. I know he teaches a SOAS and two of the modules taught are:
