InshaAllah can someone please give a fatawa or general naseeha on whether it is permissible to send your teenage daughter to a secondary state school so that she can do the exam GCSE's. Some of the reasons being used by parents that they can then use these exams to become teachers, nurses etc. to help other Muslim women and also that if they move to a Muslim country these GCSE's could help them to get a job there and help support their family if need be. And also bearing in mind GCSE's and degrees can be done on the internet through various Open University courses.
