Salaam Alaikum,
What about local sitings? Here in Columbus/ Cleveland, bro's are talking about a local siting?
Should the people refer to a local siting of the hilal? Need an immediate response insha-Allah.

Walaykum Salaam,
Actually my question was directed to the talibul'elm that could get the answer from the 'ulamah. The layman is by in no need capable of issuing fatawa between eachother. Fatawa can only be issued by the fuqaha. Wal'hamdu'li'Lah Shaikh Muhammad Al-Banna hafithahu'Llah speaks english! Shukran for the info. We've been speaking to Darul-Hadith and they're in the process of contacting Shaikh Ubayd, once his exact wording is recieved, insha-Allah it will be posted for those in need.
