Please lets all make dua' for the troubles muslims and for families that are suffering this horrific ordeal. Subhanallah, i came across an article a brother forwarded to me (i dont know who its by) by here is an extract.
"Finally, the glut of emails and text messages that everyone receives at such times urging people to ýmake duýý need to be tempered with some harsh reality: your duýý is only as good as you yourself. If you have hope in yourself (and you should of course) then have some hope for your duýý but if weýre still indulging in the haram and leaving your obligations then not only could we be wasting our time but weýre also a living proof of why Allah continues to show the results of our own actions in the deaths of our brothers and sisters elsewhere."
I think this is a very good statement, and inshallah we can all benefit from it and make real dua's for our borther adn sisters. May Allah help them and guide us and them in the right direction.
