I live in an area where there are very few salafee brothers and sisters. I say 15 at the most. A lot of these bros and sis are going out of town for the Eid. masha Allah my family can not do this. The Eid kutbah here is often filled with nonsense, like interfaith matters and the like. The men and women mingle together and women often come not covered properly or not even covered period. My husband does not think there will be a seperate Eid put together for the salafees because of the fact most of them will be out of town, he tells me he is required to attend the Eid prayer but wants me to stay home. Is this permissble or am I required to attend also?
